Join us for a conversation with Peter Golden and Eric Francis! Come hear what these thought leaders have to say about the past and future of the Jewish community.
Peter will be discussing the history of how the American Jewish community discovered the Holocaust and the immediate shock of the Holocaust to World Jewry, the Eichmann Trial, and the response of American Jewry and its impact on the 6th day War, tying it all into the goal of his new book on the Cold War.
Peter Golden is an award-winning journalist, historian, and novelist who, during the course of his long and varied career, has interviewed Presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush; Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger, Alexander Haig, George Shultz, and Lawrence Eagleburger; Israeli Prime Ministers Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, and Yitzhak Shamir; and Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev.
Eric will be discussing the sources of Jewish Business Strength and how the past has formed and shaped our present.
Eric S. Francis was born and raised in South Orange, New Jersey. He graduated from the University of Maryland He then attended the Villanova University School of Law earning his Juris Doctorate degree, following which he was appointed as an Attorney Advisor at the then young Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC. Later Mr. Francis went back to his family’s small, but successful, local family operated service organization, founded in the 1890’s by his grandfather. That organization, today some 120 years later, has evolved into The CBMC Group, a nationally recognized service, concierge and patrol organization providing services throughout much of the United States. Mr. Francis is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ‘The CBMC Group’.
