Please join YJP & Travis Robinson, Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Spotify on Tuesday, May 11th for an afternoon session at 12:30pm EST. In this interactive workshop will explore how to raise up the next generation of podcasters. We will also discuss creating space for new voices to spark joy and curiosity in the workplace. Travis L. Robinson is a people and brand evangelist, specializing in curating connections and experiences for diversity, equity and belonging.
Travis currently serves as Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Spotify. He previously served as Vice President, Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Universal Music Group, the first for any major label music company. While at Universal Music Group, he also served as co-chair of the Internal/Institutional Change committee for the Task Force for Meaningful Change. Prior to joining Universal Music Group, Mr. Robinson was head of global Diversity Recruiting & Americas Campus Programs at Spotify. He has also served in similar roles in diversity & inclusion and human capital at other industry leading, multinational brands such as: J.P. Morgan, Federal Reserve System, and W Hotels. In his community and economic impact work, he is involved in advocacy and change work for equity with underrepresented communities. He is an Advisory Board Member for Diversity and Inclusion We The Project, an accredited Investor with The Gaingels Network, and is Co-founder and CEO of Zeal Culture, The 12th Avenue Agency, and Belonging. Travis graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Lee University and holds a master's degree from The George Washington University in strategic public relations, through The Graduate School of Political Management. He resides in Los Angeles, California with his partner.
Sean Mitchell is the CEO of REZI, a leading technology company he co-founded in 2017. REZI is the only fully remote and automated marketplace for long-term apartment rentals. Before co-founding REZI, Sean had a career in financial services including roles at Corbin Capital Partners and JP Morgan Chase’s Chief Investment Office. He graduated from Florida A&M University with a BS in Business Administration. He grew up in South Florida, before relocating to New York City, where he lives with his wife.
