Glenn D. Fogel is our Chief Executive Officer and President, a position he has held since January 2017. He previously served as our Head of Worldwide Strategy and Planning, an office he held from November 2010 to December 2016. He was also Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, a position he held from March 2009 to December 2016, and was responsible for worldwide mergers, acquisitions and strategic alliances. Mr. Fogel joined us in February 2000. Prior to that, he was a trader at a global asset management firm and prior to that, he was an investment banker specializing in the air transportation industry. Mr. Fogel is a member of the New York State Bar (retired). Fogel is a graduate of Harvard Law School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
A Doctor of Molecular Biology, he founded Genomic Vision in 2004, before being
appointed as CEO of the company in May 2006. He is also its scientific director.
Dr. Aaron Bensimon discovered the DNA "molecular combing" procedure. With
unique expertise in this technology and how it is applied to molecular diagnostics, he
has contributed significantly to the development of the discipline and published
numerous articles in prestigious scientific journals (Science, Nature, Cell, etc.). He is
the author of over twenty patent filings concerning molecular combing.
Before founding Genomic Vision, he spent 15 years as a researcher at the Pasteur
Institute in Paris, where, from 1994, he directed the Genome Stability Unit. It was
during his research in collaboration with the Laboratoire de Physique Statistique at
the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris that he discovered the DNA molecular
In 1995, he received the Jacques Monod Award from the Fondation de France, which
recognises young researchers who have made significant breakthroughs at the
beginning of their careers.
From 1992 to 1993, he worked at the laboratory of Prof. Jean-Pierre Changeux
(Pasteur Institute, Paris). His research focused on studying the myogenin gene's
involvement in muscle denervation. This project was funded by the prestigious
"Human Frontier Science Program" grant, obtained after earning his doctorate from
the Weizmann Institute in Israel.
Aaron Bensimon has also undergone HEC "Challenge +" management training and
regularly participates in scientific conferences.
Abgar Barseyten (36) is co-founder and managing partner of the Tentamus Group. Before Mr. Barseyten decided to go independent with Tentamus, he was part of the M&A team and responsible for the development of the Food and Agri division of Intertek. In addition, Mr. Barseyten was responsible for Intertek’s Global Renewable Energy Business Unit out of Houston, Texas in the USA.
Mr. Barseyten began his career in 2004 in Corporate Finance with T-Mobile International in London, having studied Finance in Nürtingen, Germany and in Suwon, South Korea. In 2013, he obtained his Executive MBA from Kellogg.
Mr. Barseyten has been part of shaping the life science safety industry for numerous years across the globe by connecting dots across the labs, institutions and regulatory bodies.
Aharon Aharon is the CEO of the Israel
Innovation Authority, an independent public
entity that operates for the benefit of the Israeli
innovation ecosystem and Israeli economy as a
whole. Its role is to nurture and develop Israeli
innovation resources, while creating and
strengthening the infrastructure and framework
needed to support the entire knowledge industry.
Prior to his role at the Authority, Aharon served as the VP of Hardware
Technologies and General Manager of Apple Israel.
His previous roles were Co-founder, CEO, and chairman of Camero, a
startup developing through-the-wall micro-power radars, active
Chairman of the Board at Discretix, a startup providing solutions for
data security, CEO of Seabridge, a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens
and COO of Zoran. Prior to that, he held a number of senior
management positions at the IBM Research Division.
Aharon holds a B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Engineering and Electrical
Engineering respectively from the Technion, where he lectured for more
than 15 years.
Amir Elichai is the Founder & the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Carbyne. For more than 12 years, Amir has repeatedly demonstrated his capabilities as a transformational leader – combining business acumen with strong financial discipline, deep operational insights, and organizational management.
He is a growth-focused, results-oriented, and solutions-focused leader with a proven history of bringing analytical insights and pragmatic solutions to key business challenges.
Amir is a former Israeli Army officer who served in different positions in the special elite forces and the intelligence corps. He earned his LLB & BA from IDC.
Amir is the co-founder and CEO Twiggle, a company that is fundamentally changing how people search, discover & purchase products online. Twiggle uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to build search technology that actually understands what customers want. Their mission is to facilitate a digital shopping experience that feels a lot like the very best in-store shopping experience. Twiggle’s customers are some of the biggest retailers in the world.
Prior to launching Twiggle, Amir worked on human-machine interfaces for autonomous vehicles at General Motors. These interfaces include search, speech, and multi-model experience interactions. Prior to that, Amir was a Managing Director of price comparison company mysupermarket.com. Amir was one of the founding members of Google Israel. He also co-founded and serves on the leadership team of Israel Brain Technologies, an organization founded under the auspices of former Israeli President Shimon Peres. Amir holds a Ph.D. in Rationality and Interactive Decision Making from The Hebrew University and Princeton University. Amir is a thought leader and regular speaker on how artificial intelligence will impact the future of retail. He is the author of more than 25 patents and 15 academic publications.
For the past three years, Mr. Amit Dror has served as CEO and Co-founder of Nano Dimension (NASDAQ/TASE: NNDM), a leading 3D printed electronics company developing advanced 3D printed electronics systems and advanced additive manufacturing that enable new ways of making electronics. Nano Dimension's unique products combine three technologies: 3D inkjet, 3D software and nanomaterials.
Previously, Mr. Dror co-founded Eternegy Ltd. in 2010 and served as its Chief Executive Officer and a director from 2010-2013. Mr. Dror also co-founded the Milk & Honey Distillery Ltd. in 2012. Over the course of his career, he has developed vast experience in project, account and sales management while serving in a variety of roles with ECI Telecom Ltd., Comverse Technology, Inc., Eternegy Ltd., and Milk & Honey Distillery Ltd.
Mr. Dror has a background that covers technology management, software, business development, fundraising and complex project execution. Mr. Dror is a Merage Institute Graduate.
Dr. Andreas Wiele, born 1962, studied law at Dijon, Salzburg and Munich Universities.
He worked first of all as an editor at „Hamburger Morgenpost“, before he became assistant to the chairman of the Gruner + Jahr management board in 1988. In 1990 he took over responsibility for the „Capital“ project at the Prisma Presse publishing company in Paris, where he became publishing manager of „Capital“ and „Geo“ in 1991.
In 1994, he moved to New York to join Gruner + Jahr USA Publishing, initially as senior vice-president and general manager of „Family Circle“ and „McCall’s“ and from 1997 onwards as executive vice-president and chief operating officer for the publishing company as a whole.
Dr Andreas Wiele was appointed member of the Executive Board responsible for International Affairs in October 2000 and has been head of the Magazines and International Affairs Division since November 2000.
In January 2008, he was appointed President BILD Group and Magazines, since March 2018 he is President Classifieds Media.

Ariel has been leading technology innovation and entrepreneurship for over 25 years. Ariel is the founder and CEO of Stratoscale, a leading provider of enterprise cloud solutions. He is an active angel investor in startups, and supports technology education as a philanthropist.
Ariel started his career with the IDF, where he was responsible for managing a section of the Technology R&D Department and retired after a 10 year term. In 2001 Ariel founded Passave, now the world leader in FTTH technology, and acquired in 2006 by PMC-Sierra (MCHP), where Ariel later served as VP of Strategy. In 2006 Ariel founded Pudding Media, an early pioneer in speech recognition technology, and Anobit, the leading provider of flash storage technology acquired by Apple (AAPL) in 2012. At Apple, Ariel served as a Senior Director in charge of Flash Storage, until he left the company to found Stratoscale. Ariel is a graduate of the prestigious IDF training program Talpiot, and holds a BSc from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science (Cum Laude) and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. He holds numerous patents in networking, signal processing, storage and flash memory technologies.
Assaf Sagy is Israel's Commercial Lead at Snap Inc. Prior to Joining Snapchat, Assaf was the Vice President of Business Development at Playbuzz and co-founded a camera drone startup, Skytrails. Earlier in his career, Assaf was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey, focused on marketing and strategic development. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Israel's Institute of Technology. He lives in Israel with his wife and two kids.

Aviad is a partner at Vertex Ventures Israel, a leading Israeli early stage Venture Capital firm. Aviad brings a very diverse background. He spent 4 years at Bessemer Israel, where he invested in and worked closely with the founders of several of Israel’s best startup companies including Traffix (acquired by F5), Ravello Systems (acquired By Oracle), Vayyar Imaging, ScyllaDB, MyHeritage, StratoScale, Soluto (acquired by Asurion), Altair (acquired by Sony), Fiverr, Intucell (acquired by Cisco) and Wix (NASDAQ:WIX). Aviad was also a founding partner of Oryzn Capital where he invested in NanoRep (acquired by LogMeIn), OwnBackup and Dronomy.
Prior to Bessemer, Aviad worked at McKinsey & Company and Barclays Capital’s corporate strategy team in NY, and he started his career as a software engineer and a team leader at Marvell Technology.
Aviad holds a dual BSc in Computer Science and Physics from Tel Aviv University and a MBA from The University of Chicago.

Avishay Zlotnik was appointed CEO of Promedico on July, 2017.

Barak has served as Co-CEO of Kenon as of September 2017. Prior to joining Kenon in 2015 as Vice President of Business Development and Investor Relations, Mr. Cohen worked in various capacities at Israel Corporation since 2008, most recently as Israel Corporation’s Senior Director of Business Development and Investor Relations. In this capacity, Mr. Cohen supported and monitored the development of key growth companies throughout various stages of their lifecycles, contributed to the development of Israel Corporation’s corporate investment strategy, evaluated new investment opportunities, assisted in transaction execution. Bar Veinstein joined Ex Libris Group in June 2010 as VP, Resource Management. Following a 20-year career in marketing, product management and software research and development, Mr. Veinstein now leads the company as President of Ex Libris.
Before joining Ex Libris, Mr. Veinstein held a number of leadership roles at NICE Systems (Nasdaq: NICE). During his 12 years at NICE, Mr. Veinstein led teams responsible for product management, product marketing and integrated/solution marketing, at the NICE Americas headquarters in Rutherford, New Jersey. He subsequently served as Head of Global Integrated Marketing. Benson F. Smith is currently the Chairman of Teleflex Incorporated. Mr. Smith
officially retired from his Chief Executive Officer role at Teleflex on December 31,
2017. Teleflex is a global provider of medical technologies designed to improve
the health and quality of people’s lives. Teleflex applies purpose-driven
innovation with a relentless pursuit of identifying unmet clinical needs to benefit
patients and healthcare providers. Teleflex is headquartered in Wayne, PA.
In March 2018 Mr. Smith received the prestigious Hubert J.P. Schoemaker
Leadership Award from the Life Sciences Pennsylvania organization (LSPA). Mr.
Smith was chosen for the Schoemaker Leadership Award due to his

Mr. Smith was a Speaker and an Author at The Gallup Organization. He also

Bernard Raskin is the founder and Regional Owner of RE/MAX Israel. Dan Rivlin joined Kenes in 1993 and rose through the ranks of the
organization holding senior managerial positions, including Operations
Director, prior to becoming CEO in 1999. Dan’s vision and guidance
coupled with accumulated experience and expertise gives Kenes Group its
time-honored stability and market presence. He holds a B.Sc. in Hospitality
Management from Florida International University and an MBA from

Mr. Bassa is a leading Israeli entrepreneur operating in the biotech and high-tech industries. Mr. Bassa is the co-founder & C.E.O of Sela Software Labs Ltd. (1990), a leading company in the high-tech and IT industry. Mr. Bassa is a known leader and entrepreneur in Cannabis research field In 2015, Mr. Bassa founded Talent-biotechs, which focused on investigating the use of CBD to prevent and treat Graft versus Host Disease (“GvHD”). Talent was sold to Kalytera in the beginning of 2017 for 10M$-40M$ plus royalties. Mr. Bassa founded Stero Pharma in 2017, a biotech company who research the effects of CBD on autoimmune diseases. Mr. Bassa was twice awarded the President Excellency Award (1981, 2002) and as a student managed the Israeli branch of the international AIESEC organization, of which he is an international Hall of Fame member (2002).
The Fattal Hotel Chain is Israel’s largest hospitality organizations with 38 hotels and 10,000 rooms under
its management. These hotels are well distributed across the country in all major tourist venues – Tel
Aviv, Jerusalem, Tiberias, Dead Sea and Eilat. The Chain also owns and manages 130
Leonardo-branded hotels in Europe. While the Fattal Hotel Chain attributes its continued growth to the
combined talents of its many gifted and dedicated people, ultimately this success is due to the
determination and vision of its founder, David Fattal. David started his career as a waiter and
acknowledges that this modest beginning gave him early insights into the core values necessary to attract
guests and convert them into repeat customers. Showing a natural aptitude, he gained rapidly promotion
to positions of influence. In 1984, at the age of 27, he was appointed Assistant General Manager of the
prestigious Dan Accadia Hotel in Herzliya. By 1988 he became General Manager of King Solomon’s
Palace in Eilat.
Ten years later, in 1998, David founded his hotel management business Fattal Hotels, also taking over
the prestigious Meridien Hotel in Eilat. Other hotels rapidly followed as David and his team set about
creating and delivering a new benchmark of ‘hotel value’ for guests. For many years now the Fattal name
has been synonymous with innovation in the hotel industry. The Fattal Hotel Chain introduced the
all-inclusive system into Israel and has set new standards in the culture of entertainment for both children and adults.
David Li is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director at Cabot Microelectronics Corporation, a US publicly traded semiconductor materials company headquartered in Aurora, Illinois (NASDAQ: CCMP). David joined Cabot
Microelectronics in 1997 and over the past 20 years, has held a number of different roles within the company including leading the company’s Asia Pacific business where he was based in Shanghai, China as well as numerous other leadership positions in Product Line Management, Investor Relations, and Operations. David started his career
as a chemical engineer working at UOP, a petrochemical technology company.
David earned a BS in Chemical Engineer from Purdue in 1995 and an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg University in 2003.
David and his family including wife, Sophia, and sons Ethan and Henry split their time between Shanghai and Chicago. In his free time, David enjoys golf, reading, and travel.

Don Lents serves as Senior Partner & Chair Emeritus of the firm. His practice focuses on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law and general corporate matters with particular emphasis upon responsibilities of boards of directors, multinational and domestic mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, anti-takeover planning, and related matters. He is co-author of a treatise on Missouri Corporation Law and Practice and of articles on various corporate law issues. He has been an adjunct professor at the Washington University Law School.
Mr. Lents served for a number of years as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and was the Chair of the Firm from 2004 through 2014. He previously served as head of the firm’s Transactions Practice and chair of the Corporate Department. He also was the partner in charge of the firm’s London office from its opening in 1982 through 1984.
Drenusha Shala was born in November 1989 in Prizren. At the age of 7, she moved to Switzerland with her family.
She has completed her professional high school for business and administration in Zurich. During this period she worked for 3 years as a Junior Project Manager at Zurich Financial Services, which was her first and last employer.
Drenusha, together with Flamur Shala and Muhamet Veliu, set up a new business, Baruti GmbH. At that time she was only 21 years old. Consequently, following Barut's growth, she has completed her Bachelor degree at the University of St. Gallen for Management
In 2013 she was elected Chief Executive Officer of Baruti AG.
Eliaz graduated from Hebrew University with a LL.B. (Law), a B.A. (Accounting). Eliaz worked at a top-tier law firm and from there continued to work for a “Big 4” accounting firm, where he focused on projects related to corporate finance, commercial transactions and tax. Eliaz was also admitted as a member of the Israeli Bar Association.
Armed with legal and financial experience, Eliaz joined Yvel during 2011 as the CFO of the Yvel Group. Following the successful completion of 5 years as the CFO, Eliaz was appointed as the CEO of the Yvel Group.
Yvel is a luxury international high-end jewelry brand founded in 1986 and recognized worldwide for its distinctive creations featuring nature’s most treasured resources. Dr. Jonathan Javitt serves as Founder and CEO of NeuroRx, a clinical stage pharma company that is in phase 2b/3 clinical trials with NRX-101, an FDA Fast Track, first-in-class drug targeting suicidality in bipolar depression. Rafael Beyar, MD, DSc, MPH, and Professor of Medicine and
Biomedical Engineering, is the director of Rambam Health Care
Campus, since 2006, a leading academic referral hospital in

(1977), a DSc from the Technion (1983), and his MPH from the
Bloomberg School of Public Health (2008). He trained at Johns
Hopkins Cardiology and has held a visiting Professor appointment there. Beyar

Todd Dollinger brings decades of entrepreneurial experience to Trendlines.
He serves as the Chairman of Trendlines Medical Singapore and as Investment Committee chair of Trendlines Incubators Israel. As well, Todd is a director and chairman of a number of Trendlines’ portfolio companies. He founded The Trendlines Group with Steve Rhodes in 2007 and shares the positions of Chairman and CEO of Trendlines with Steve. Together, they lead the Group’s strategy.
The Start of Trendlines
In 1991, Todd joined the marketing department of Israeli medical device start-up SRD Medical and went on to become SRD’s CEO. It was at SRD that Todd met Steve.
In 1993, Todd and Steve founded Trendlines International. Under their leadership, Trendlines International grew to become one of Israel’s leading business development consulting firms. They merged the principal consulting activities of Trendlines International into the Group in 2008.
Under the strength of their longstanding partnership, Todd and Steve oversaw the Singapore Stock Exchange IPO in 2015, took two companies public on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (E.T.View Medical and FlowSense Medical), and expanded the Group’s activities internationally, including raising funds for Trendlines’ portfolio companies around the world.
A Born Entrepreneur
Some would say that Todd was born with the entrepreneurial gene, starting a tropical fish import and breeding business when he was 15. While a student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, he established a concert promotion company. His passion for bringing ideas to market led him to launch Trendlines, Inc., (in the United States) with his brother Mark in 1978, providing sales, marketing, and business development services in the United States. Todd served as Trendlines’ president until 1990 when he sold his interest to Mark and moved to Israel with his family.

with more than 30 years of experience in the Israeli Air Force, having started as a young pilot
and rising through the ranks to the most senior position as General. He now leverages his
decades of experience in the defense industry as a pilot flying helicopters and other aircrafts
with the most advanced FIR (Far Infrared) thermal sensing technology, where it is a proven and
mature technology, to bring that knowledge to the automotive market. An esteemed expert in

Yong Kwek Ping is the CEO of Inventis Investment Holdings, the largest private equity

Dr. Mirkin graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Microbiology in 1979. Dr. Mirkin completed his residency in Pediatrics at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center from 1982-1985. He has been board certified in Pediatrics since 1989, is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and has a special interest in dealing with infectious disease and autism. He has been honored with the Healthcare Heroes Physician Hero Award in 2013 as well as a “Top CEO” in 2016 by Long Island Business News.

Irena Tsyrlova received her medical degree from the State Medical Institute, Novosibirsk, Russia, and obtained her PhD and DSc in Immunology-Hematology from the Institute of Immunology, Moscow, she had established and led the laboratory of Molecular Biology of Hematopoiesis. One of the pioneers of the stem cell research in Russia, she authored “The Hematopoietic Stem Cell and the Immune Response” (with V. A. Kozlov and I. N. Zhuravkin, “Nauka” Publishing House), several patents and one discovery registered by the State Committee of USSR. Additionally, she has trained 10 PhD students. As a Research Fellow she spent a year at the Christie Hospital and Paterson Institute for Cancer, Manchester, UK, and participated in the preparation for the world's first use of cultured bone marrow for leukemia treatment and the world's first single harvest blood stem-cell transplant under Prof. Michael Dexter; and later spent 6 months at the Terry Fox Lab, Vancouver, Canada, working on the development, validation and use of quantitative assays specific for hematopoietic stem cells, in collaboration with Dr. Connie Eaves.
Dr.Tsyrlova has 20 years of management experience as an operational manager and a strategic leader within an international biotech environment, advancing development efforts directed toward the use of hematopoietic stem cells in regenerative medicine, as well as for hemo- and radioprotection of stem cells during cancer-related therapy. She served as a Director, Stem Cell Biology (2001-2013) at Wellstat Therapeutic Corporation, a private biotech company located in Gaithersburg MD, USA, where she designed and led preclinical and participated in clinical studies on stem cells and new drug candidates development as well as contributed to the research and clinical programs in diabetes, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases (including a diabetes drug licensed to Sanofi for $350MM). Prior to that she was a Director, Hematology, Pro-Neuron, Inc. Rockville, MD, USA, where, in addition to leading a lab, she established important partnerships with industry and other research institutions on cord blood expansion (with Dr. Visser, New York Blood Center); protection of stem cells from chemotherapy (with Dr. Moore, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center NY); gene transfer of MDR gene into stem cells with (with Dr. Bank, Columbia University); improvement of stem cells engraftment after transplantation (with Dr. Ploemacher, Rotterdam University, Holland); and others.
In addition to being an expert in immunology, hematopoietic stem cell biology with a solid background in gene and cellular therapy principles, blood banking and stem cell expansion, Dr. Tsyrlova has maintained a keen interest and hands-on mastery in developing and adapting novel, cutting edge research applications, including animal models, flow cytometry-based assays, gene therapy applications, cell assays and small scale manufacturing processes.
Importantly, she played an active role in the design and implementation of the clinical research program for the hematopoietic stem cell inhibitor-cell cycle regulator (including IND submission, clinical protocol development, Key Opinion Leader and Health Authorities interactions, and certain aspects of clinical study management) and participated in preparation of several other IND, as well as one Investigational Device Exemption Application. She has lead discussions with the Office of Cellular, Tissue and Gene Therapies, CBIR, US FDA, and in the FDA advisory committee meeting on the topic of cellular replacement therapies.
Dr.Tsyrlova`s exposure to the regular venture and Business Development and Licensing (BD&L ) presentations and negotiations has led to a keen understanding of the financial elements of pharmaceutical development. She has participated in writing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grants leading to multi-million dollar funding for programs in gout, Type I diabetes, cancer, multiple sclerosis (MS) and inflammatory diseases.

as Sovereign’s regional president for Berks County from 2004-2009 and as managing director of
corporate communications from 2000-2004.
Prior to joining Sovereign Bank, Dick was an independent consultant to more than 70 financial
institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Sovereign, where he provided guidance on regulatory
matters, mergers and acquisitions and risk management.
As a consultant to Sovereign, Dick worked with the Commercial Development Group to identify and

Dick began his banking career in 1968 following his service as a United States Marine during the Vietnam

Rodney Dean Reider serves as President and CEO of Saint
Alphonsus Health System, a multi-hospital and clinically-

Salzburg, Austria. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Locally, Mr. Reider is involved in critical community strategies, such as the City of
Boise's Housing First Initiative, which will transition the chronically homeless to a stable
housing environment. Saint Alphonsus is a major funder of the project and will be
providing health care to the residents once the project is operational.
Mr. Reider has also been inducted into the 124 th Fighter Wing of the Idaho National
Guard as an honorary commander. In that position, he is supporting the important role
the National Guard has throughout the State of Idaho and the local community. Saint
Alphonsus works with to support and train as well as employ numerous Idaho National
Guard members in our area hospitals and clinics.
