Todd Siwak is the Chief Executive Officer of Ferrara Candy Company, an affiliate of Ferrero Group, one of the largest global confectionery business.
Siwak oversees the strategic direction of the Chicago-based $2 billion dollar confectionery company. With more than 4,000 employees in nearly 20 offices and facilities across North America, Ferrara is the third-largest confections company in the country, the No. 1 player in seasonal non-chocolate and the No. 2 player in non-chocolate confections. In 2018, Ferrara and Ferrero completed the acquisition of the U.S. Nestlé confection business, positioning the company for its next phase of dynamic growth.
Under his leadership, Ferrara has experienced significant branded revenue and profit growth due in large to organizational restructuring, product revitalizations and the elimination of operational inefficiencies. The company remains one of the fastest growing in the category and, in 2018, is on pace to outgrow the category 2.5X.
Prior to joining Ferrara, Siwak was an operating partner at L Catterton, the largest consumer goods-focused private equity group in the world. During his tenure he worked across multiple portfolio companies to optimize business performance, resulting in numerous successful outcomes. Prior to L Catterton, he was the President and Co-Founder of TRG Accessories, a multi-million dollar luggage, travel gear and accessories company with notable consumer brands including Swiss Army, Timberland and Callaway Golf. Driven by his expertise in business insights, sales, marketing and innovation, the company grew to be a 150 million dollar-plus global business in four years and, in 2002, Siwak was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Early in his career Siwak was a practicing Mergers and Acquisition attorney, and made the transition to the consumer packaged goods sector where he held positions in the areas of distribution, operations, sales, marketing and acquisitions.
Siwak is a passionate supporter and advocate of community betterment, and has served on numerous nonprofit boards that focus on revitalizing and enriching local communities. He also serves on several for-profit consumer packaged goods company and private equity boards.
A native of Missouri, he holds a J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law and a B.S. in economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
