Brian Rudolph is the co-founder & CEO of Banza. Banza is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of nutritious comfort foods. Banza’s first product, a pasta made out of chickpeas, is the fastest selling pasta in both Whole Foods and Target. The pasta was named one of TIME's 25 Best Inventions of the Year, and has been endorsed by the New York Times, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and Good Morning America. Today, the product is available in over 11,000 stores. As a company, Banza has cultivated one of the most engaged social media followings in the industry.
Brian received his BBA from Emory University and is an alumnus of the Venture for America fellowship.
Gautam Puranik is vice president of marketing and analysis at CarMax. CarMax is nation’s largest used car retailer, a FORTUNE 500 company, and has been named one of the FORTUNE “100 Best Companies to Work For” for fourteen consecutive years. Mr. Puranik is responsible for advancing marketing strategies and platforms for CarMax. He leads the marketing consumer insights and analytics teams and is spearheading efforts to improve customer relationships and drive bottom-line results through his knowledge of data, analytics, digital and technology.
Prior to joining CarMax, Mr. Puranik served as vice president of marketing strategy and customer experience at Capital One. He has extensive experience in developing and implementing marketing programs and systems designed to meet aggressive growth targets and goals.
Mr. Puranik received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Pune, India, and his Masters of Science in operations research from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Guy Cohen is the Chief Revenue Officer of Wonder, an on-demand knowledge delivery service backed by Bloomberg, and has spent the last 6 years building marketplace startups (Seeking Alpha previously).
Jomaree Pinkard is an African-American male entrepreneur who was raised in New York City. His career has been a journey that has taken him from helping develop and implement the Salvation Army's September 11th World Trade Center Disaster Relief Program to providing his consulting company’s services for the National Football League, with BS and MBA degree pit stops at the University of Virginia and The Wharton School of Business at UPenn. Currently, he is a Co-Founder and CEO of craft cocktail company, Hella Cocktail Co. In 6 years, he has grown a hobby into a nationally distributed premium quality food manufacturer with clientele including the likes of TGI Friday's, Delta Air Lines, Whole Foods and Total Wines & More. While his business acumen serves Hella from a strategic, marketing and financial operations standpoint, he continues to learn about the life of an F&B entrepreneur as an end-to-end experience in the creation and growth of a premium lifestyle beverage brand.
Marni Schapiro is the Director of Retail Advertising at Snapchat where she oversees the team driving innovation and growth for leading brands in the retail sector. She joined Snapchat in 2015, and has managed the development of its retail business from the ground up. Prior to joining Snapchat, Marni spent close to a decade leading various teams at Google, including Consumer Packaged Goods, Entertainment and Retail. She was a part of Google's first dedicated YouTube and Display management team, focused on scaling a new player into a multibillion dollar platform. Marni started her career as a media planner and spent years in print advertising at Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire. Marni is a proud mama of three children and lives in Jersey City with her husband.
Rachel Drori is the Founder and CEO of Daily Harvest. Prior to founding Daily Harvest, Rachel harnessed her skills as a customer-centric marketing executive, leading teams at Gilt Groupe, American Express, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She currently resides in New York City with her family.
As Chief Marketing Officer and EVP of Medidata, Simon oversees Medidata’s overall marketing strategy, including product marketing, corporate communications, digital, marketing operations and demand generation across all regions.
In his 20 years in the tech space, Simon has held a variety of marketing and sales leadership roles. Prior to Medidata, Simon worked for Rackspace, where he served as VP of global marketing, leading the development of its “managed cloud” positioning and go-to-market – ultimately creating a new category in the cloud market. Previously, Simon spent eight years with Microsoft, where he led central marketing & communications organizations in France and in Asia, and was most recently head of partner sales and marketing for the Asia-Pacific region. During his tenure, Simon built scalable and programmatic marketing engines to deliver a seamless customer and partner experience across 12 markets. Earlier in his career, he also worked for HP and Orange Business Services.
As a result of his innovative efforts, Simon was recently honored with the BMA 2017 Award for the B2B Corporate Marketer of the Year. He holds an MBA from Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France.
Joseph was previously the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and CRM at the Vitamin Shoppe, responsible for customer acquisition & retention for the $100MM+ e-commerce business and 700+ retail stores with revenue approaching $1B. Prior to joining Vitamin Shoppe, Joseph managed digital marketing for Quidsi (an Amazon company), including Diapers.com, Soap.com, Wag.com and their other family brands with over $500MM in revenue. Joseph received his MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, specializing in digital marketing, entrepreneurship, innovation and business analytics.
Stephen has spent the last 10 years building online advertising technology companies from start-up to success.
In his current start-up as Co-Founder and CEO of display.io he is responsible for growing the companies footprint in mobile advertising across 4 offices globally.
Stephen has a degree in Philosophy and was a securities trader for Bank of New York and Bank of Ireland in a previous life. A citizen of both Ireland and Israel, he is now based in NYC with his wife and daughter.
Tom Hartman is driven by dual passions for marketing and mentorship. He has held senior roles with leading media and marketing technology companies. At Innovid, the world’s leading video advertising platform, Hartman leads client efforts for new and existing customers for the eastern region. In this role, he is responsible strategic consultation with major agency and marketer partners about how to advance and accelerate their video efforts and increase their return on that investment.
Previous to joining Innovid, Tom served as SVP/Sales for Networked Insights, a SaaS marketing analytics company. Before Networked Insights, he worked at Condé Nast, serving ultimately as SVP Corporate Sales. In this role, he ran the sales team responsible for $1 billion in revenue.
Tom’s background in advertising and sales includes tenures as SVP/Worldwide Advertising of the Walt Disney’s Go.com and as Regional VP/Strategic Sales at DoubleClick.
Tom holds a B.A. from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School. He also studied cooking at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
Chae O’Brien is a product marketer, workshop facilitator, and SMB mentor who brings over 10 years of experience and dedication to helping both small and large brands grow exponentially. She began her career in the global Oil & Gas sector which led her to be the first and female CMO of a 50M Engineering company by the time she was 27 years old. She moved to NYC in 2015 where she has worked in the Ad-Tech and Video Advertising industry. In her spare time, Chae mentors small businesses and startups for SCORE NYC and the venture capital firm, Backstage Capital. She is also a certified SCRUM Master and promotes agile marketing as one of the most efficient ways for lean organizations to scale growth and achieve go-to-market success. Dalia is a leader at the intersection of fashion + retail + tech. She has presented and moterated at several events, such as #DMWF at the Javitz Center, Brand
Innovators Fashion & Beauty, and The Network at FIT.
She recently hosted a successful hackathon with Coach “Tapestry” where several concepts are coming to fruition. Dalia was also one of the winners of the first Hearst Fashion hackathon, and is frequently contributes to industry publications including luxury daily, Globe and Mail, and Evins.
Rebecca Batterman is a consumer marketing, innovation, and immersive experience consultant. Her career has been rooted in exploring and challenging the traditional formats of the consumer and brand relationship and retail experience.
Rebecca's work has won numerous innovation and experiential marketing awards. She's launched 30+ consumer brands to market, including startup, blue chip, and corporate innovation brands. Rebecca challenges brands to explore innovation not just in their products but in the way they connect with consumers. In her recent work, she’s led brands such as P&G, Target, and LEGO in using crowdfunding to test innovations for transactional validation and early consumer insights.
Robyn co-founded the eco-conscious cork yoga and wellness brand, 42 Birds, to address issues of sustainability, design and performance in the growing yoga industry. She currently serves as the brand’s CMO/COO working to build a 360 lifestyle brand and expand the uses of cork, which is the most sustainable form of forestry on the planet. 42 Birds has been featured in Goop, Business Insider, Well+Good amongst other media outlets.
As a serial entrepreneur, Robyn’s also founded Seek Food, a cricket protein food brand that addresses some of the greatest health and environmental issues in our global food system.
Previously, Robyn served as the Deputy Director for the non-profit organization, the Lowline, a future underground park in New York City illuminated by solar technology. Robyn formerly held domestic and global senior marketing roles, working with companies such as Ralph Lauren, Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson. Robyn also completed the Eagle Street Rooftop Farm apprenticeship program, and is a Tribeca Disruptor Foundation Fellow.
