Colin Browne has served as the Chief Operating Officer for Under Armour (NYSE: UA) since the beginning of 2020. With 14,000 employees and $5.3 billion in revenue, Under Armour is a global athletic brand that provides fitness clothing, equipment and digitally connected fitness apps. In his current position, Colin is responsible for the
company’s supply chain and sourcing operations, demand planning, distribution, information technology, business-process management, corporate real estate, asset protection and sustainability. His key achievements include developing and implementing the company’s digital go-to market and direct-to-consumer model, which have reduced lead-time and inventory while expanding gross margins. He also established how demand planning teams unlock the value in all aspects of Under Armour’s data, including its fitness applications such as MyFitnessPal and MapMyRun. He previously served as the company’s Chief Supply Chain Officer from 2016 to 2020, where he led all aspects of chain operations, including sourcing, planning, and global distribution and logistics. While in this role, he established planning functions and executive sales and operations planning protocols that resulted in world-class
service levels as well as delivered double-digit margin growth and inventory improvement.
Prior to joining Under Armour, Colin served as Vice President and Managing Director of Asia Sourcing for VF Corporation Hong Kong (NYSE: VFC) from 2012 to 2016. With $10.5 billion in revenue and 50,000 employees, VF is one of the world’s largest apparel, footwear and accessories companies with a diverse portfolio of iconic outdoor and activity-based lifestyle and workwear brands. He was responsible for all aspects of the company’s $4.5 billion global sourcing division, excluding Latin America, for VF’s portfolio of brands, including The North Face, Timberland, Vans, Nautica, Lee, Wrangler, JanSport and Kipling. He also designed and executed strategic sourcing plans that delivered significant margin and supply chain improvements across the division. He previously served as Vice President of Footwear for VF where he led sourcing and related activities for Timberland, Vans, The North Face and Reef.
Colin serves as a board member of several organizations, including World Federation of Sporting Goods Industries and the Baltimore-based charity Living Classrooms. He is Co-Chairman of the Board for the Digital Supply Chain Institute and Chairman for the American Apparel and Footwear Association.
Orin Snyder is widely recognized as one of the country’s leading trial lawyers and litigators. A former federal prosecutor, Mr. Snyder is a partner in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Snyder was named General Commercial Attorney of the Year for 2020 by Benchmark Litigation. The prestigious Chambers USA 2021 ranks him in Band 1 in New York for both General Commercial Litigation and Media & Entertainment Litigation, and among the top Trial Lawyers in the country. Mr. Snyder is Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn’s Global Trial Practice Group.
Mr. Snyder is described in leading industry surveys as “absolutely the best – he’s an aggressive, highly motivated and incredibly effective courtroom litigator,” “ultra smart and highly focused,” “totally dedicated to winning,” with “exemplary trial skills” and a “strong voice at the table.” He is singled out for being “exceptional in high-stakes commercial litigation.” “His performance at trial is masterful.” Following his cross-examination in one high-profile trial, an article described Mr. Snyder as “the deadliest trial lawyer in tech.”
Mr. Snyder has a proven track record of success across a broad range of practice areas and industry sectors in courts throughout the country. As one of the go-to lawyers for Silicon Valley and other technology companies, he represents clients in some of today’s most high-profile cases. He has represented Facebook in some of its most significant matters dating back to 2007 and presently represents the company in securities and consumer class actions and other related matters in connection with the misuse of Facebook data by Cambridge Analytica. Mr. Snyder has also represented Uber in a variety of high-profile matters, including important regulatory questions. He also represents both digital and traditional media and entertainment clients, which often seek him out for their bet-the-company cases. Mr. Snyder is lead counsel defending AMC Networks Inc. in the biggest profit participation cases ever brought in the cable television industry relating to the hit show “The Walking Dead.” He also represents prominent individuals – including Bob Dylan, Jerry Seinfeld, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and David Letterman – in their litigation matters.
Before joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Snyder was a partner at the litigation boutique Parcher, Hayes & Snyder. He also served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where he prosecuted organized crime and white collar crime cases and served as Chief of the Narcotics Unit.
Mr. Snyder was born and raised in New York City. He earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, cum laude, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with high honors. He has two adult children, Jeremy and Becky. He is a member of the Board of the David Lynch Foundation and is active in numerous community and public affairs.
Samantha is a connector, marketer, developer, and salesperson with a keen insight into her clients’ and partners’ needs and expectations. She brings a strong background in partnership relations and project management, specializing in the tech, entertainment, and financial space. Samantha started in the entertainment space working for companies such as Fox Searchlight, New Regency Films, William Morris Endeavor, and The Walt Disney Company leading in division organization and solving budgetary issues. She then moved into the Tech Space working in Business Development and running the Clubs Division at FabFitFun where she was able to turn an incomeless division into a money maker, which is still projected to generate over two million dollars yearly. There she realized her love for finance and helping others achieve her dreams, ultimately sparking her to make a big career shift during the pandemic and leading her to her job now at Lido Advisors, LLC. as an associate focusing on partnerships and business development in Los Angeles.
