EVP and COO of Merchandising at Costco

Claudine earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University
and started her Costco career at the Kirkland, Washington warehouse with
the membership and security department in 1992.
A year later, she became an Inventory Control Specialist for the Northwest
region of foods and was promoted to Assistant Buyer in 1994. Since
becoming a Buyer in 1996, Claudine moved through several departments
including business delivery, e-commerce and consumer electronics.
In 2004 as General Merchandise Manager/Assistant Vice President,
Claudine moved to Los Angeles to open the Los Angeles regional non foods
buying office. Relocating back to Seattle in 2013, Claudine was promoted to
Vice President over the home division then she moved over to consumer
electronics, office and jewelry.
In 2018, she became Senior Vice President over non foods merchandising.
Claudine was promoted to Executive Vice President of merchandising in
February 2022.
