Brooklyn born Adina Kamkhatchi is the founder and designer of Adina's Jewels.
As a daughter of immigrant parents, who worked diligently to provide the best opportunities for their children- Adina imbibed their determination and strong work ethic from an early age.
She has always loved jewelry and recalls selling snacks & candy in school as a business at 10 years old- and using her earnings to buy rings & necklaces.
During her college years, she majored in psychology, but found herself immersed in designing and curating jewelry -- and at 19, she started her own jewelry brand.
Her very first line consisted of pieces made of leather and pearls, and she was flooded with orders through word of mouth in her community, which eventually led to her designing more pieces and the birth of Adina's Jewels.
Named after her late grandmother, the brand is a labor of love that Adina has strived to make accessible to women around the world at every price point.
As a first generation American, inclusivity is a huge part of Adina’s everyday design process and her jewelry is for everyone regardless of gender, race, color or size.
Her passion for design along with a savvy entrepreneurial spirit has been a match made in jewelry heaven, placing Adina’s Jewels on the top selling list at every major retailer in the country.
Adina’s coveted designs have been worn by Katy Perry, Billie Eilish, Millie Bobby Brown, Cardi B, Cara Delevingne, Emily Ratjakowski, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner among others.
With strong leadership skills and a keen eye on the market, Adina has led Adina's Jewels to thrive and grow despite a global pandemic. She recently opened her first retail store in Soho, New York which is a testament of the brand’s resonance in the market.
Through her own experience, she is focused on empowering the next generation of female entrepreneurs with leadership and brand building skills. When she is not immersed in creating jewelry, Adina spends her free time with her husband- whom she met and got married to, all during the pandemic!
Despite all the accolades under her belt, the journey has only just begun and watch this space for more to come...
