Josh Machiz is the Chief Digital Officer of Nasdaq where he's responsible for managing partnerships, corporate marketing and all of the digital content created for the Nasdaq social media channels, as well as experiential marketing and social media activations at Nasdaq MarketSite. In this role, Josh is responsible for the IPO day social experiences and social advertising for new and established Nasdaq companies. Previously, Josh was the Chief Business Officer for Frucher LLC, a consulting firm performing duties for Nasdaq and the State of New York. He joined Nasdaq in 2013, and has 10+ years of marketing and consulting experience. Additionally, he serves as a board member of GMHC and is a recipient of the 2018 Marketing Edge Rising Star Award.
Lisa Schneider is Chief Digital Officer & Publisher at Merriam-Webster, where she leads digital strategy and execution across content and product development, user experience, and technology. She has redefined the dictionary for the digital age through a combination
of technology upgrades and content/social strategy, changing people’s perception of the brand from a “dusty book on the shelf” to a timely, relevant resource and commentary users turn to every day. Under her leadership, Merriam-Webster has won numerous awards,
and she was recently featured on the AdAge Creativity 50 and the Folio: Top Women in Media lists.
Previously, Lisa held executive roles in digital strategy and product development at Penton, Budget Travel, Reader’s Digest, and Bridal Guide.
Sami Hassanyeh is AARP’s SVP of Digital Strategy and Membership. Sami has more than 20 years of technology and marketing experience, along with demonstrated success in delivering business value on the web, mobile and social media platforms for AARP. He has developed, executed and led an aggressive digital strategy that has significantly grown unique visitors, advertising revenue and digital memberships. Sami is a visionary leader and is passionate about the mission of AARP and its goal to empower people to choose how they live as they age. He has been with AARP over the last 15-plus years, serving in progressive positions that have included Chief Digital Officer, Senior VP, Digital Strategy & Operations; VP, Web Strategy and Operations;
Director, Applications Development.
Sloan Gaon is the CEO of PulsePoint, leading the company’s vision and mission to deliver better health outcomes through data and technology.
A renowned industry veteran, Mr. Gaon has executive management expertise in global digital marketing, content and e-commerce. Prior to joining PulsePoint, Mr. Gaon served as CEO of Dotmenu, the leading online food e-commerce company, where he successfully navigated its acquisition by Grubhub. Through Dotmenu's flagship sites Allmenus and Campusfood, Mr. Gaon successfully grew reach and revenue for the biggest network of restaurants across the nation.
Prior to Dotmenu, Mr. Gaon was General Manager of the Web Content channel of Adknowledge, (the 4th largest ad network in the world) where he was responsible for managing the strategy, product, sales, business development and P&L of the group. Mr. Gaon also held numerous management positions at MIVA/Findwhat including SVP, Consumer Entertainment and Corporate Development where he was responsible for managing the M&A activity and strategy of the company, including the sale of the MIVA ad network assets to Adknowledge and Spill.com to Hollywood Media.
Before joining MIVA, Mr. Gaon was COO of RegistryPro, Inc., a subsidiary of Register.com. Prior positions include Director of Business Development at Register.com and VP of Internet Initiatives at TurboChef Technologies, where he was responsible for structuring global strategic alliances and joint ventures.
An alumnus of Clark University, Mr. Gaon graduated cum laude from the Syracuse University College of Law where he was executive editor of the Law Review and an Irwin Brodsky Securities Scholarship recipient.
As Founding Partner and Chief Strategist of Ready Set Rocket, Alex oversees innovation and digital strategy for brands like AAA, American Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Hall, the NBA, Seagram's Gin, Sweetgreen, and Univision. Outside the office, he is an adjunct professor of Digital Strategy at NYU and Baruch College.

He was the CEO of Accent for 18 months, a $80M entity which is focused on customer care. MDC sold Accent to Startek at 6 times EBITDA after David transformed it in a multi-channel customer engagement agency partnering with clients such as Sprint, Bridgestone and BJ’s.
He is now serving on his third Board with Summit Partners, Home Care Assistance, after two very successful exits with Summit with National Veterinary Associates to Ares at a 13x multiple and Blue Pearl Emergency Veterinary Care to Mars for more than $1B. He is also an advisor to CarePoynt, a healthcare focused loyalty platform.
Named 2010 Chief Marketer of the Year by CMO Magazine, David brings deep expertise in turning insights and analytics into action in marketing and operations.
David spent 13 years at Harrah’s & Caesars Entertainment where as CMO, he oversaw the company’s CRM, loyalty program, brand, advertising, hotel revenue management, multicultural marketing, consumer insights, VIP marketing teleservices, all websites, entertainment and retail stores.
Significant experience with PE firms, including Apollo, TPG, Summit Partners, CDR, Rockbridge and L Squared.
He recently released a book with McGraw Hill called The High Roller Experience that provides insights on how to use data and digital technology to transform organizations.
He started his career at MBNA in Management Development before helping to form a robust loyalty function and moved to American Express where he ran the Telechannel across all business units

The sequel “The Battle for Share of Life” came out beginning 2018, describing an ideology of how the world’s most valuable brands are earning a significant piece of customers lives. The concept has been referenced by Forrester multiple times as a true guide for brands to survive what is coming in the future.
Melanie Winer is VP of Media Strategy & Client Success at Insider Inc., the parent company of Business Insider and INSIDER. In her role, Melanie is responsible for driving her teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience for Insider Inc.’s advertising clients at both ends of the marketing funnel, from proposal development to execution and renewals.
Melanie joined Insider Inc. in November 2016, as director of media planning & strategy, where she built and led a global team, driving revenue through strategic pricing and operational efficiencies whilst improving customer service internally and externally. Melanie helped launch new digital ad products (such as Insider TV and podcasts) and planned and executed media buys on behalf of Insider Inc.'s corporate marketing initiatives.
Prior to Insider Inc., Melanie held various roles within the media organization at Bloomberg LP for more than 9 years, ranging from marketing to operations to account management.
Melanie is passionate about mentorship and female empowerment, and is currently serving as a mentor for Yeshiva University’s WiBi program (Women in Business Initiative).
Melanie received her EMBA from Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University and her BA from Rutgers University.
Mike is a Senior Director of Business Development at The Trade Desk and an experienced digital marketing and programmatic advertising technology professional.
Mike was one of the first 60 employees at the Trade Desk, a publicly traded marketing software company with 1,000 + employees around the world. He has spent 5 + years working with some of the largest agencies and brands and advising how to use online media, technology and data effectively. He now leads a Business development team and oversees one of our largest global partners.
Prior to joining The Trade Desk, Mike helped grow digital marketing within Publicis’s Audience on Demand (AOD). As a client service lead, Mike executed some of the first technology driven advertising buying.
