Adam Rothenberg is a Co-founder and Partner of BoxGroup, a New York City based early stage venture capital fund. BoxGroup invests in pre-seed and seed rounds with the goal of backing talented entrepreneurs building disruptive technology companies and with visions to create the next generation of category defining businesses. Investments include Blue Apron, Trello, PillPack, Flatiron Health, Sunrise, Warby Parker, Harry’s, Oscar, Behance, Smart Things, Stripe and more.
Adam was previously the Director of TechStars in New York City. TechStars is a mentorship-driven seed stage accelerator program.
Prior to joining TechStars, Adam spent 4 years investing in the public markets at a hedge fund in New York City.
Adam attended The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he concentrated in Finance and minored in Fine Arts.
Adam is a native New Yorker.
Adina is a founding partner of Brandgenuity, an award-winning, global brand licensing agency. Her areas of expertise include brand strategy, licensing planning and the development of products, packaging and marketing materials. She was classically trained in brand management at Kraft Foods and as a licensing agency has worked with renowned corporate and entertainment brands, including BMW, Anheuser Busch-InBev, Food Network, ARM & HAMMER, MGM, Viacom, Playtex, and many others.
Adina was named as one of the Top 18 Influential Women in Licensing by License! Global, and has been a guest lecturer at NYU, the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University and The Ohio State University. She is a frequent speaker at the Licensing Expo, the Licensing Industry trade show. Adina is an alumna of Princeton University and Columbia Business School. She sits on several non-profit boards.
Danny Schultz is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Gotham Ventures, one of NYC’s pre-eminent VCs. His network spans New York, Silicon Valley, Boston, LA, London and Israel and goes back 25+ years. He is attracted to entrepreneurs eager to challenge the status quo, who display a passion to solve problems, and enjoys working closely with them to help them achieve their vision.
Danny was a senior banker in capital markets and ran Lehman Brothers equity private placement business just prior to co-founding Atlantic Venture Partners, the predecessor to DFJ Gotham and now Gotham Ventures. He began investing as an angel and was fortunate to get very early exposure to the Israeli tech scene going back to the mid-1980s. While at Lehman,
having led the way for Israeli tech IPOs, Danny established many long-standing relationships within its VC and start-up community. He continues to attract substantial deal flow from the Israeli tech arena and expects to see an increase in Gotham’s investments in Israeli startups.
Danny prides himself on being a team builder, a tough but fair negotiator, and a tireless champion of entrepreneurs and innovation. His investing is focused on fintech, e-commerce, mobile and the enterprise. He leads Gotham’s investments in pioneering companies such as LendKey, in online lending, and YipitData, an alternative financial data research platform. He has also been responsible for a number of Gotham’s other successful investments - XOsoft, acquired by CA, Pivot, acquired by the CME and Massive, acquired by Microsoft. His personal investments have included SMARTS, acquired by EMC; Insulair, acquired by Georgia Pacific; Active Impulse Systems, acquired by Phillips; and PassLogix, acquired by Oracle.
Danny also enjoys mentoring young VCs and entrepreneurs. He has been active with the Kauffman Fellows program and Endeavor Global and was Co chair of INGENUITY 2012, New York’s premier startup venture conference. He has also appeared on Bloomberg TV and MSNBC’s Your Business. Danny has been a Limited Partner in venture capital funds and a member of the Investment Committee of The American Friends of The Hebrew University endowment fund, a diversified multi-hundred million dollar entity.
Danny is a graduate of Columbia University where he holds a degree in Economics. He is also active with Autism Speaks and the Green Chimney’s School in Brewster, New York. He and his four boys reside in Westchester, New York. In his spare time, he can frequently be found somewhere in Westchester playing or coaching his boys’ hockey, or in nicer weather training, along with his boys, for their next triathlon.
Gautam Puranik is vice president of marketing and analysis at CarMax. CarMax is nation’s largest used car retailer, a FORTUNE 500 company, and has been named one of the FORTUNE “100 Best Companies to Work For” for fourteen consecutive years. Mr. Puranik is responsible for advancing marketing strategies and platforms for CarMax. He leads the marketing consumer insights and analytics teams and is spearheading efforts to improve customer relationships and drive bottom-line results through his knowledge of data, analytics, digital and technology.
Prior to joining CarMax, Mr. Puranik served as vice president of marketing strategy and customer experience at Capital One. He has extensive experience in developing and implementing marketing programs and systems designed to meet aggressive growth targets and goals.
Mr. Puranik received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Pune, India, and his Masters of Science in operations research from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Gustavo never liked the idea that people could be defined by one word.
He believes that everyone has multiple personalities that play different roles throughout their lives, their days. It fascinates Gustavo to think about how that affects people’s behavior and particularly how the entertainment business can influence and benefit from these patterns.
At the NBA, he put that in practice by overseeing the brand’s global strategy, advertising, media, youth engagement and Integration, bringing together 600 million fans from the USA, China, Europe, Latin America, Africa and other international markets.
With a team of 40 people worldwide, his collaborative and performance driven management style fit well in a fast paced business thriving in the Digital Era where reach, immediacy and velocity are key.
Born in Rio, Gustavo graduated in journalism and advertising in Sao Paulo and run his own content marketing company for years before coming to the US. Here, he received a masters in Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) at Northwestern University, IL, before joining Leo Burnett’s Lápiz Multicultural division and - afterwards - DDB Advertising, where he led Strategy for the agency’s two largest accounts State Farm and McDonald’s Global.
Proving his multiple personalities theory, Gustavo has his own things too…he’s a serious wine lover, a former National Team Rugby player and addicted to politics and sports. He has two beautiful kids and lives in Manhattan with his wife, that doesn’t love the fact that he rides a motorcycle in the city…
Lynn has over 15 years experience working with brands and agencies in marketing, partnership, and business development roles. She has led partnerships and marketing for premier subscription-based publishers like Fortune.com and CBS interactive and with agencies like WPP, leading digital marketing strategy for top brands such as Capital One, Comcast, Wyndham Worldwide and LVMH. She currently leads the marketing team for the largest bike share company in North America, Citi Bike.
Leading commerce strategy, sales, marketing, and consulting teams for over 20 years, Russell has worked with hundreds of organizations in shaping go-to-market strategies and execution plans. With a passion for technology’s socio-economic impact, Russell is known for expertly fusing economics, strategy, humor, and leadership into a deeply relevant, and entertaining message.
Russell holds an MBA from NYU and a BS in Computer Science from SUNY Binghamton. His expertise in AI is continually reshaped as he “trains” his 7 and 3 year old sons.
Shira Goodman is the former CEO of Staples Inc. Goodman joined Staples in 1992 and was the first director of Marketing and Merchandising for the B2B delivery business. Her experience over 26 years with Staples includes leading the marketing, human resources and global growth functions. Prior to Staples, she was a manager at Bain and Company where she helped develop the initial business plan for the Staples delivery business, now a $10B+ company.
Shira serves on the Board of Directors of CarMax and Henry Schein. She was included in Fortune’s list of “Most Powerful Women” in 2017.
Shira just completed nine years on the CJP (the Boston Jewish Federation) Board of Directors. During that time she co-chaired the CJP Strategic Planning Committee and the recent CEO Search Committee. She has served as Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Gann Academy, Director of the Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale and President of the Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston. Shira received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, an MBA from MIT & Sloan School of Management and a JD from Harvard Law School.
She is married to Rabbi Wesley Gardenswartz, and they have three children: Nat, Sam, and Jordana.

Nitro quickly became a global network with seven offices around the world with a client base that included Mars, Nike, Unilever and Coca-Cola. In 2009, Nitro merged with Sapient, creating SapientNitro, which became the largest independent advertising and digital agency in the world. When Chris left SapientNitro it had 9,500 employees, 35 offices around the world and a market capitalization in excess of $2 billion. In December 2014, SapientNitro was sold to Publicis Groupe for $3.7 Billion.
In 1993, Chris founded Pure Creative. It quickly expanded into seven offices, from Melbourne to Beijing, and became one of the hottest creative agencies in the world. Clients included Mars Inc., Procter and Gamble, Coca-Cola, and the Australian Tourist Commission. Pure Creative was sold to Leo Burnett in 2000.
Chris is also passionate about philanthropy and is on the board of Children of Fallen Patriots, Covenant House, and MindUp.
Joshua Brenner joined Eyzenberg & Company in 2017 as a Business Development Associate. His primary focus is identifying and interacting with potential clients who are seeking debt and equity solutions for their commercial real estate transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Brenner was an insurance and investment advisor with Fifth Avenue Financial in New York City. He also has experience in corporate middle-market investment banking and served in the U.S. Navy as a SONAR Technician.
Mr. Brenner holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics from Columbia University.
Levi Eichenstein is the Founder and CEO of Red Rock Outdoor, a New York City based outdoor advertising company. Red Rock Outdoor owns and operates outdoor advertising assets in NYC and Miami and provides experiential marketing around the Country. Some of its clients include Apple, Netflix, Amazon, GM, Corona, Nike, Warner Brothers and many others. Red Rock's office are located in Chelsea, Manhattan.
Levi has been in the outdoor advertising business for 17 years and has worked on many projects, large and small, including some iconic Times Square signs and has a thorough knowledge of the outdoor advertising business. He enjoys brainstorming sessions with clients and coming up with new and creative ideas to marketing their brand.
Olga Bashkatova is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from New York University. She has extensive experience in the preparation of financial statements, accounting and audit management, budgeting, payroll and benefits management, software implementation, scaling financial operations, taxes and financial investigations. Olga has a passion for working with tech startups and has led the Finance team at 8 other startups. Currently, she provides accounting consulting services to various clients through her firm NextStage LLC. Prior to that, Olga served as CFO at Paddle8, Inc. where she participated in a post-buyout restructuring with the goal of achieving profitability in 12 months. She also served as Principal Accounting Officer at Function(X), Inc., a NASDAQ listed company, where she was responsible for all SEC filings and oversaw the divestment of 65% of the company's assets, several acquisitions and an S-1 filing.
Anthony started with Agency Within two years ago in July 2016 and is currently the Director of Partnerships for the agency, as well as a team lead overseeing $20M+ in budget across e-commerce, retail-oriented and B2B clients. Anthony’s expertise is in the execution, attribution, and management of search, social, display, affiliate, influencer, and podcast platforms. Prior to joining Agency Within, Anthony was a Project Manager for US Energy Group, where he spearheaded the development of a real estate energy efficiency analytics dashboard that resulted in millions of dollars saved for property owners nationwide. Anthony received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Fordham University.
Ben Birnbaum is the Co-Founder of Repower Group (www.RepowerGroup.com). Repower Group finances, owns, and operates infrastructure for new mobility and renewable energy. Prior to starting Repower Group, Ben was Head of Growth for MV Transportation, and Director of Growth Strategy for McGraw Hill Education. He was a Birthright Excel Fellow in 2011, served as the Fellowship’s North American Chairman from 2013-2017, and remains a board member today. Ben grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ and received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Pennsylvania State University.
Ben Hindman is Co-Founder and CEO of Splash, the event marketing software used by over half of the Fortune 500. Prior to Splash Hindman was head of events for publishing giant Thrillist, where he produced everything from mystery fly-aways to full-scale concerts. He is also a co-founder of Summit Series, the renowned invite-only destination event for the greatest minds in tech.
Jay started with Agency Within in January 2016 and is currently Director of Digital Strategy, as well as a team lead overseeing a $50+ million budget across e-commerce, event focused and B2B clients. This includes one brand whose revenue rose from $6M to $120MM+ run rate in 16 months under his management. Jay’s expertise is in marketing strategy, attribution, and management of both online and offline media channels. Examples of channel expertise include search, social, display, affiliate, influencer, and podcast platforms. Prior to joining Agency Within, Jay was a Customer Acquisition Specialist for the Vitamin Shoppe, responsible for managing digital marketing channels to support the e-commerce business and 700+ retail stores. Jay received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Economics from the University of Miami.
Jonathan founded a number of successful eCommerce companies and is regarded as a pioneer and expert in the fields of online sales and eCommerce. As the chief executive of Gaffos Inc. he brings an innovative and entrepreneurial approach to his ventures to maximize customer engagement, sales and overall efficiency. Jonathan is the Founder and current CEO of Gaffos Inc, runs all Gaffos related businesses and day to day operations. Jonathan grew Gaffos from $50K in sales in 2008 to over $12 million in 2018. Jonathan holds a BS in finance from Yeshiva University Sy Syms School of Business.
Moshe Neuman is a serial entrepreneur with an eye on the future. Moshe has worked as a valued advisor and mentor to top startups in the areas of FinTech, HealthTech, AI, cybersecurity, blockchain and many others.
