Ricky Sandler founded Eminence Capital in 1999. Today, Eminence is a ~$7.0B global investment management organization. As the CIO of Eminence, Ricky is responsible for managing a team of over 20 investment professionals and a diversified portfolio across most sectors of the market. Prior to launching Eminence, Ricky was co-founder and co-general partner of Fusion Capital Management, LLC. Prior to that he was a research analyst covering a wide range of industries and companies for Mark Asset Management, where he began his investing career in 1991. Ricky received a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin, graduating with honors. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the University of Wisconsin Foundation and as a member of its Development Committee, Investment Committee and Traditional Asset Subcommittee. Ricky Sandler is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Mr. Zimmer is the Chief Executive Officer of Zimmer Partners and Portfolio Manager of ZP Utility Fund and ZP Energy Fund. He currently manages a portfolio of approximately 20 billion dollars and is recognized as a leading specialist within energy and infrastructure investing. Zimmer Partners’ highly repeatable process of intense fundamental analysis and aggressive trading of both long and short positions drives the firm’s ability to generate alpha year in and year out, with little to no correlation to the energy sector itself, broader market indices, or other hedge funds.
Mr. Zimmer graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College with Honors in Mathematics in 1991, where he wrote his thesis under Robert C. Merton, the 1997 Nobel Laureate in Economics. Upon graduation, Mr. Zimmer joined Steinhardt Partners, known as one of the pioneer firms of the investment fund industry. At Steinhardt, Mr. Zimmer was a research analyst with a focus on energy investments, including electric and gas utilities. His experience at Steinhardt also included trading of equities, fixed income, currencies, and derivatives. In 1993, Mr. Zimmer left Steinhardt to manage a utility focused fund sponsored by Commodities Corp. Upon Goldman Sachs’ purchase of Commodities Corp in 1997, Mr. Zimmer launched ZP Utility Fund. He still manages ZP Utility Fund today as well as the more recently launched, ZP Energy Fund, from the firm’s offices in Manhattan.
Mr. Zimmer is also the Chairman of Ategrity Specialty Holdings LLC, a specialty property and casualty insurance group that focuses on the excess and surplus lines market, and Chairman of The Carrick Group, an international non-life reinsurance and claims management company.
