Edward J. Minskoff is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Edward J. Minskoff Equities, Inc., a New York-based real estate acquisition and development company which has been most active in the Manhattan office building market, owning and managing over 6 million square feet.
During his real estate career, Edward J. Minskoff has developed more than 40 million square feet of institutional quality office buildings in seven (7) major U.S. Cities, which include the 7.5 million square feet World Financial Center. In 1977, Mr. Minskoff was the Founder/Principal of Olympia & York North American.
In a joint venture in 1994, EJME with Odyssey Partners, L.P. and The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (OTRS) acquired the 43-story, 1 million square-foot IBM Building at 590 Madison Avenue in New York City from International Business Machines Corporation. Mr. Minskoff's company developed 1325 Avenue of the Americas, a 873,000 square foot office building in midtown New York City, and completed construction of a 435,000 square foot office building at 101 Avenue of the Americas. Edward J. Minskoff Equities, Inc. acquired 825 Seventh Avenue in partnership with Vornado Realty Trust in 1996. It is currently being upgraded and the newly refurbished building will be ready for occupancy in 2019. In 2001, EJME acquired Bell Atlantic's (Verizon) condominium interest in the 1.5 million square foot 1166 Avenue of the Americas in NYC (Marsh & McLennan's World Headquarters). In Bethesda, Md., his company acquired Marriott Corporation's 866,000 square foot World Headquarters. EJME has developed a 240,000 square foot office building under a long term twenty-year lease for the Northeast Headquarters for the Federal Aviation Administration (GSA). In addition, EJME developed a 1,000,000 square-foot mixed-use retail building (270 Greenwich Street), residential building (101 Warren Street), and a rental apartment building (89 Murray Street) in Tribeca. The Buildings are designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and have a private pine tree forest designed by Thomas Balsley, a Whole Foods Market, Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Bed Bath & Beyond, and a Bank of America branch. Most recent successes include the renovation and repositioning of 101 Avenue of the Americas as well as the completion of a 435,000 square foot commercial office building at the former Cooper Union Engineering Building site at 51 Astor Place, which won the 2017 Urban Land Institute Building of the Year Award. The Fumihiko Maki designed building is anchored by IBM's cutting edge research and technology division, IBM Watson. In November 2016, EJME acquired two office buildings, 500,000 square feet, in Playa Vista, California. In addition, EJME is in the planning stage to develop a new office building in Culver City, California. His company is also developing a luxury condominium on Jane Street in the West Village, designed by the world-renowned architect, David Chipperfield.
Edward J. Minskoff received an honorary doctorate in business from Michigan State University, and their new Business School Pavilion has been named in his honor. Mr. Minskoff serves on various Boards and is a member of professional organizations such as NYU Langone Medical Center, NYU Cancer Center, The Museum of Modern Art, MSU Broad Art Museum, Real Estate Board of New York and The Partnership for NYC.
Peter A. Miller has wide-ranging experience in real estate finance with an emphasis on acquisitions, development, joint ventures and financings. He represents owners and developers of investment properties, including private equity funds and other titleholders in the real estate market.
Peter handles large, complicated transactions and has managed complex financial and partnership arrangements that arise in large-scale real estate transactions. He represents financial institutions in the purchase and sale of senior-junior participation interests, A-B notes and mezzanine loans.
Alex Elezaj is the founder and director of Black Mountain Capital, (BMC), a Manhattan-based private mortgage banking firm which provides real estate and business financing. Founded in 2011 by Elezaj, BMC recently opened a new Westchester office in downtown New Rochelle.
Elezaj brings a wealth of mortgage banking experience to the forefront of the industry. He has originated near to a billion dollars in loans during his 20+ year career, through various asset classes. Last year, BMC closed over $100 million in finance deals, including the cross-collateralization of a highly leveraged loan at the newly built Hudson Yards project.
Brendan Maddigan is Vice Chairman at JLL, were he focuses on investment sales in Brooklyn and Queens. Mr. Maddigan has handled over 250 transactions with an aggregate consideration of over $2.0 billion. Jeffrey M. Sussman is Executive Vice President in charge of all leasing, building management and operations. His responsibilities also include new development and acquisitions. Specific responsibilities include six existing New York office properties, the Bluffs at Playa Vista, EJME’s newest acquisition, 500,000 rsf office complex in Los Angeles and eight new development sites, including 51 Astor Place. At EJME, he worked on the development and leasing of 51 Astor Place, 1325 Avenue of the Americas and 101 Avenue of the Americas, as well as the acquisition and leasing of 590 Madison Avenue. He was also responsible for the leasing and administration of over 20 properties that were owned by various members of the Minskoff family. The properties were located around the country and included holdings of over 1.4 million square feet of space.

Mr. Sussman started his career working for Mr. Minskoff at Olympia & York Properties as Assistant Project Coordinator of the World Financial Center project. His responsibilities included coordinating and directing development, design, construction and management of project’s public spaces.
Mr. Sussman received a Masters of City and Regional Planning from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1983 and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Political Science from Stanford University in 1980.
Jonathan is the CEO and Founder of SquareFoot--a new type of commercial real estate company that solves the needs of small and medium sized businesses by providing transparent access to inventory, brokerage services, and a flexible space offering. More than 1000 transactions have closed via SquareFoot as its quickly becoming the go-to destination for commercial real estate leasing in NYC and other major US markets. Matthew (Matt) Galligan is President of Real Estate Finance for CIT Group. His team provides stabilized, value-add and construction loans between $25 million and $50 million to highly experienced and well-capitalized developers in the office, retail, industrial and multi-family rental sectors with a $7.4 billion portfolio concentrated in the Boston-Washington corridor and southern California.
Mr. Massey began his career at CBRE and soon became head of the market research department in Midtown Manhattan, then as an investment sales broker.
He founded Massey Knakal Realty Services together with his colleague Robert A. Knakal, whom he met at CBRE. The company became the New York metropolitan area’s dominant commercial investment sales brokerage firm. With over 225 employees serving more than 200,000 property owners, Massey Knakal Realty Services was consistently ranked New York’s #1 investment sales firm in volume for 14 consecutive years.
As CEO of Massey Knakal, he led the development of the firm’s strategic initiatives including geographic expansion as well as the growth of the firm’s service lines. At the end of 2014, Cushman & Wakefield acquired Massey Knakal and Mr. Massey was appointed President, New York Investment Sales.
In 2017, Paul Massey ran as a Mayoral Candidate for New York City, primarily focusing on education, housing and homelessness while also providing solutions for how to improve quality of life in the city.
In July 2018, Mr. Massey and his partners Neil Heilberg and Michael Wlody, launched a new commercial brokerage firm, B6 Real Estate Advisors, short for “Building By Building, Block By Block”. The investment sales and capital advisory firm specializes in middle-market ($1-$200 million). The firm employs a distinct Territory Network model that ensures sub-market expertise for its agents along with an owner-aligned philosophy and a technology-forward platform.
Mr. Massey is a member of numerous organizations including REBNY and The Lower East Side Tenement Museum. He is also an amateur boxer and an avid skier. He and his wife, Gretchen, have three children; son, Paul III, and daughters, Sarah and Greta. He resides in Larchmont, NY.
Mr. Griswold joined CBRE, Inc. in August 1997. He is a 29+ year veteran of the commercial real estate business, a New York City native and a local market expert.
Local market knowledge is Mr. Griswold's forte. He possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the entire New York and New Jersey Waterfront office markets - the buildings, owners, tenants and all associated market activity/transactions including tenant’s actively in the market (acquisition/disposition), “Shadow Space” and recently completed deal specifics. In addition to his local market expertise, Mr. Griswold has completed over 2.1 million sq. ft. of transactions in other major cities throughout the world, including London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Denver, Boston, Philadelphia, Greenwich, Hartford, Stamford and Miami.
Mr. Griswold's area of commercial real estate expertise is corporate tenant representation, including relocation, expansion, disposition, and lease re-negotiation projects. Among his various international and domestic clients, the majority are prestigious boutique financial service firms: Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Venture Capital Firms, etc. that Mr. Griswold has represented in their acquisition and disposition* of Class “A” office space in the New York City Tri-State region.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Griswold was a Vice President at Koll Real Estate Services Company.
Alex received his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University where he was studying Urban and Regional Planning. During his time at MSU, Alex successfully founded the business “DriverOnTap” while running the business Alex brought the business from Michigan to the Tri-State area and was featured in Curbed, The New York Times, and New York Post. Alex has a passion for Urban Sustainability and has worked with rooftop gardening facilities in New York, San Francisco and Detroit. Today, Alex works on JLL’s New York Capital Markets group.+
Carl earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics in 2017. He began his career with Sterling National Bank in their 18-month Commercial Banking Rotational Training Program, where he gained experience as a Credit Underwriter for the Mortgage Warehouse Lending Group, and as an Analyst for a Commercial Real Estate Lending Team. He currently works as the Lead Credit Analyst and Associate Portfolio Manager for one of the most active Commercial Real Estate Lending Teams at Sterling. Over the past year, he has played an integral role in closing over $100 million in commercial real estate loans, including Multi-Family, Office, Retail, Industrial, Construction and Co-Ops.
Ethan Stanton serves as a managing director in the Capital Markets Group where he focuses on investment sales throughout New York City.
Mr. Stanton has built a strong presence in the Brooklyn & Queens marketplace. His successful track record
includes a broad range of asset types and transaction structures. Ethan has brokered the sale of over 175
commercial properties with an aggregate consideration of over $1,500,000,000.
