Mr. John F. Powers serves as the Executive Vice President of Boston Properties’ New York region. He oversees all aspects of the New York and Princeton, New Jersey portfolio of over 10 million square feet, including development, acquisitions, leasing and building operations.
Prior to joining Boston Properties in January 2014, he served as Chairman of CBRE, Inc. for the New York Tri-State Region overseeing the strategic direction of CBRE’s Tri-State operations. He joined the Edward S. Gordon Company, which was subsequently merged into CBRE, in 1986 after working 8 years at Swiss Bank Corp (now UBS). At ESG he developed and managed the Consulting Division into a strong and integral part of the firm’s service delivery platform, which facilitated its sustained leadership in the Manhattan office leasing market. He also brokered millions of square feet of transactions, representing both tenants and landlords, led numerous strategic consulting assignments for large corporate occupiers and advised on many ground up developments. He advised Boston Properties for over 20 years.
John received a BA in Mathematics from St. Anselm College, an MA in Economics and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts. He also studied International economics at the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva.
Michael joined Morgan Stanley in 2009 and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing transactions in the Northeastern United States on behalf of Morgan Stanley's real estate funds.
Previously, Michael worked at Credit Suisse DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners.
Michael received an M.B.A. fro the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Michael also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.A. in History from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Miki Naftali, is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Naftali Group, established in 2011. With over 30 years of experience in the international real estate industry, Mr. Naftali has a track record of acquiring, developing and managing properties with a total of $9 billion in assets, across North America, Asia, Europe and Israel. Mr. Naftali has developed a vast portfolio of 30 projects, of which 18 are luxury condominium buildings in New York City with a total of 1,333 residential units- among other projects including luxury rental buildings and mixed-use properties.
Mr. Naftali is noted for spotting unique opportunities and launching projects that raise the bar for creative development in the domestic and international real estate industries. From an array of ground-up new development to meticulously preserving and restoring landmark buildings, Mr. Naftali’s success in development creates unparalleled demand and value. His most notable project in New York has been the $450 million restoration and reconfiguration of the iconic Plaza Hotel, preserving its beauty and history while transforming it into a successful mixed- use development, containing a five-star hotel, private residences, and celebrated shops with a world-renowned gourmet food hall.
Prior to establishing Naftali Group, Mr. Naftali was the President and CEO of Elad Group and its subsidiaries, overseeing all operations in New York, Florida, Canada and Singapore. He was instrumental in launching Elad Canada’s IPO, and served as the chairman after it became public. He established and was the President and CEO of Elad Properties, the development arm of Elad Group, which acquired The Plaza Hotel among other notable properties.
Miki Naftali was recognized for his development, marketing and financial activities- ranked No. 18 on the list of the Top 100 Most Powerful People in New York Real Estate by the New York Observer. Mr. Naftali is the former Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of DGRE, a European real estate investment firm with an impressive portfolio of holdings. Mr. Naftali is an active keynote speaker and accomplished guest lecturer. He has addressed a Private Society at Yale University, the YJP Real Estate Investment Summit, Friends of the IDF and audiences of University of Sothern California and Columbia Business School.
Ross Cooper is President and Chief Investment Officer of Kimco Realty Corporation. In this role, Mr. Cooper works closely with Kimco’s Investment Committee, risk team, and regional leadership in overseeing the development and implementation of Kimco’s acquisition and disposition strategy. Mr. Cooper is also a voting member of the Company’s Investment Committee which approves all new investments, development projects and property dispositions. Mr. Cooper joined Kimco in 2006, and prior to his current role served as an Executive Vice President of the company and as Vice President of Acquisitions, Dispositions and Asset Management in Kimco’s Southern Region.
Mr. Cooper holds a B.S. degree from the University of Michigan, and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from New York University.

A former Vice Chairman of Prudential Douglas Elliman, Dolly recently left the real estate company to start her own
ultra-luxury sales and marketing firm. During her career, she has sold an unprecedented $12.0 Billion in property,
including her recent record-setting sales of a $57.0 million triplex penthouse to billionaire Rupert Murdoch and the
New York Foundling’s $45.0 million West Village Mansion. Dolly has also managed the sales and marketing efforts
of many of New York’s most illustrious properties including the Ritz Carlton at 50 Central Park South, the iconic
Apthorp and Manhattan House condominiums, The Cipriani Club Residences, and 515 East 72nd Street. Dolly has
one of the most impressive client rosters in the industry. Although she is mainly known for representing high profile
celebrity clients, Dolly does roughly half her business with relatively anonymous foreign buyers, including heads of
state and sovereign wealth funds, who buy New York City apartments as investments.
Prior to her entry into the real estate industry, Dolly held various positions in the retail, motion picture, and insurance
industries. She began her real estate career working in the listings department of a small mom-and- pop firm. Her
impressive sales results caused industry insiders to take notice and led to her being recruited by Sotheby's where
she spent over 10 years as their top-producing broker and spearheaded Sotheby’s international sales efforts. Dolly’s
ability to continually set sales records soon led to her being featured in “New York Magazine” as one of the City’s top
ten real estate “Power Brokers”. She was subsequently recruited by billionaire Andrew Farkas at Insignia Douglas
Elliman and was key to bringing about the sale of Insignia Douglas Elliman to Prudential Real Estate Inc. In 2003, after
several years of outstanding sales results and other contributions to the company, she was promoted to Vice
Chairman. In 2013, Dolly founded her own eponymous company Dolly Lenz Real Estate LLC (DLRE).
Due to the depth of her experience and the breadth of knowledge in real estate matters, Dolly is a Fox Business
contributor as well as a columnist for Australia’s largest publication “The Australian.” She is repeatedly sought after
to represent some of the most exclusive properties in the world. Recently, Dolly consulted with the Wall Street
Journal as the super luxury real estate expert for Showtime’s “Billions” and recorded an eighteen-minute podcast
for the television series. Other contributors were Jim Chanos, president and founder of Kynikos Associates and
Harvey Pitt, former chairman of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). As a regular guest on CNBC’s "Power
Lunch”, “Squawk Box” and “Fox News with Neil Cavuto”, as well as appearances on MSNBC, Bloomberg TV, and "The
View" on ABC, she has developed a broad following and continues to opine on current real estate issues in various
media publications including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times and Barons. Dolly has
hosted CNBC’s documentary series “Mega Homes: Secret Lives of The Super Rich.” She has also been the host of
CNBC's real estate special series "Million Dollar Home Challenge” and was featured on NBC’s television network
series “Open House.” Dolly is not only recognized for her extraordinary business accomplishments, but also for her
philanthropic contributions to charitable organizations such as Ronald McDonald House, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club,
the Central Park Conservancy, the New York Police Foundation, and Lincoln Center for The Performing Arts. She is a
Board member of the NYC Police Athletic League (PAL), an organization devoted to the growth and prosperity of over
50,000 inner city youth. Dolly is also a Board member of The College of Mount Saint Vincent, the Chop
David Scharf is one of the country’s leading trial and appellate lawyers and serves as a senior counselor to CEOs and multi-national companies. He has more than 25 years of experience representing and advising clients in securities, M&A, complex commercial and real estate transactions, corporate restructurings and other high-stakes business matters. David leads a vibrant litigation and counseling practice that services some of the country’s foremost companies, financial institutions, entrepreneurs and family offices.
In the financial arena, he has broad national experience representing private equity funds, hedge funds, public companies, financial institutions and other stakeholders in all facets of financial and business litigation. During the financial crisis, he focused on significant restructuring, counseling, advisory work and related litigation matters, representing investors, lenders and borrowers across the country. He has successfully litigated multi-million-dollar corporate takeovers, shareholder disputes and securities-related matters.
In the real estate sector, David’s experience encompasses all aspects of real estate and business litigation. He has represented sponsors, developers, hospitality companies, lenders, purchasers, brokers and other stakeholders. Mr. Scharf has obtained successful outcomes for parties linked to iconic properties in New York, Chicago, Miami and San Francisco.
A native of New York, David organizes and heads various pro-bono projects. Among his philanthropic activities, he serves as vice president and member of the board of directors of the U.S. Tennis Association Foundation, and as a trustee and board member of the Lifetime Care Foundation for the Disabled, Inc.
Ari Davis is a Partner in Tannenbaum Helpern's Real Estate, Construction and Environmental Law practice. He concentrates in enabling commercial real estate transactions, including sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, leasing and financing. Ari has counseled a diverse set of clients, from family-owned businesses and single member limited liability companies to Fortune 500 companies. He negotiates retail and office leases and subleases on behalf of landlords and tenants for spaces ranging from small offices to entire industrial buildings. Ari frequently works with developer clients that sell and purchase multifamily developments, shopping centers and office buildings throughout the U.S., and he represents lenders and borrowers in various loan structures.

representing a developer that acquired a controlling interest in a joint venture with a church, which was formed to acquire and develop the church property and multifamily units above it and
representing a car dealership client on a construction loan that it obtained from its national franchisor
Prior to joining the firm, Ari was an associate in the Real Estate, Development and Land Use Group of Chiesa, Shahinian and Giantomasi PC (formerly known as Wolff & Samson PC), one of the largest and most respected New Jersey law firms.
Outside of work, Ari enjoys spending quality time with his family and is an ever-suffering Cleveland sports fan.
Alexander Riguardi is an Analyst in JLL’s New York office. He specializes in investment sale transactions and in New York City, with a primary focus on office and retail properties.
In Alex’s first year in the business he was part of a team that closed over 50 transactions aggregating in over 1 billion dollars in sales across all product types.
During his time at Michigan State University, Alex successfully founded the business “DriverOnTap” while running the business Alex brought the business from Michigan to the Tri-State area and was featured in Curbed, The New York Times, and New York Post. Alex has a passion for Urban Sustainability and has worked with rooftop gardening facilities in New York and San Francisco.
