Andy Cohen is President of Rock Properties, a provider of rental housing for over 2,500 people in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
In 1988, Cohen served in New York City’s Koch administration as a housing coordinator and in 1995 founded Rock Properties with the mission “Inspiring Our NeighborsTM.” Since that time, Rock Properties residents, staff, investors, and neighbors have all benefited from Rock’s consistent series of successful projects.
Since 1995, Rock Properties has purchased and rehabilitate over 1,000 residential units. Projects to date include the rehabilitation of 61 residential units in Elizabeth with State Balanced Housing Funds, and a 68-family warehouse conversion and new construction in Newark for mixed-income housing utilizing Federal and State funds including Low Income Housing Tax Credits. The company most recently acquired 130 apartments in North Newark, New Jersey.
Mr. Cohen is founder of TGreen.org, a financial literacy after-school program for young adults and others. The program pays participants a stipend and teaches utilizing real spending and savings, with students graduating having established good credit with the national consumer reporting agencies.
Mr. Cohen graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1981 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University in 1986. He is 54-years old and lives in Millburn, New Jersey with his three children.
Christopher Herron joined the company in 2009 and has over seventeen years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. At Iron Hound, he is responsible for day to day operations of the loan restructuring platform along with the debt and equity advisory business. In addition, Mr. Herron sources new origination and acquisition opportunities for Iron Hound.
Before coming on board at Iron Hound, Christopher was a Director in Wachovia’s Real Estate Group, where he worked in the Securitization, CMBS, Large Loan and Structured Finance Groups. His responsibilities included loan origination, structuring, execution and disposition of these loans in the secondary market. In his eight years at Wachovia, Christopher originated and sold over $7 billion in loans for the CMBS and Large Loan Groups, and over $500 million for the Structured Finance balance sheet.
Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
Eli Tabak is a seasoned veteran of the commercial real estate industry with more than 15 years in the business. Just prior to co-founding The Bluestone Group, Eli was a Managing Director at investment sales firm, GFI Realty Services. Over the course of his career he has successfully negotiated numerous high profile sales, as well as consulting and advising his clients during transactions.
As co-founder of The Bluestone Group, Eli oversees the sourcing, acquisition, litigation, workouts of non-performing debt, real estate acquisitions, as well as complex bankruptcy litigation and settlements.
Gregory Kalikow is the fourth generation in his family’s real estate business. Mr. Kalikow graduated Washington University in St. Louis in 2007 with a degree in Marketing and Political Science. He Graduated Hofstra Law School in 2010 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2011.
Mr. Kalikow has been working with The Kalikow Group since 2003 on the overseeing and management of his families’ real estate holdings. Additionally, Mr. Kalikow has helped provide his company with legal expertise in order to develop rental, single family, and condominium units as well as shopping centers in various projects both in and outside of New York.
Jeff Mooallem serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gazit Horizons, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary and the United States investment division of Gazit Globe, Ltd. (NYSE; TSX; TASE: GZT). A 20 year veteran of the real estate industry, Mr. Mooallem most recently held executive positions at Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT), Equity One, Inc., and privately held Turnberry Associates in Miami, FL. Gazit Horizons was formed in May 2017 to acquire commercial and mixed-use assets in major metro markets throughout the United States. The company has offices in Miami and New York and has acquired $130 million worth of properties since its inception.
Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University and his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law. Prior to starting his real estate career, Jeff practiced law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York and Greenberg Traurig in Florida.
Joe Koicim is a top-producing broker in Manhattan’s Marcus & Millichap office. He is a partner and co-founder of the New York Multifamily Group. As a Director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi Housing Group, Joe focuses on bringing new capital into both established and emerging New York markets. Joe and his team have set countless sales records for multifamily and mixed-use assets in Manhattan and across the boroughs. Private investors, institutional funds, foreign entities, and nonprofit organizations consistently seek Joe’s high-level expertise to provide them access to lucrative buying or selling opportunities.
Most recently, Joe was responsible for the sale of a 71-unit East Village portfolio, an 86-unit elevator apartment building in Clinton Hill and a 78,000 square foot mixed-use assemblage in Williamsburg. Some of Joe’s additional notable transactions include the sale of a 16-building spread throughout prime submarkets in Manhattan and Brooklyn which he sold for $132 million, a portfolio of nine buildings in Midtown West and the Upper West Side, a 96-unit apartment package on West 25th Street, and a newly built high-end elevator building on West 27th Street, adjacent to the Highline.
Joe joined Marcus & Millichap in 2004 and was responsible for the sale of over ten transactions within his first fifteen months with the firm. Joe has facilitated the sale of over three billion dollars in New York City real estate and has qualified for Marcus & Millichap’s National Achievement Award every year since 2011. He was recognized as a top 30 under 30 broker by the Commercial Observer in 2008 and was recently named a top investment sales broker by Real Estate Forum magazine. Joe has been quoted in many trade journals and was featured on The Stoler Report: Real Estate Trends for his insight on Manhattan’s real estate investment sales market.
A true entrepreneur and innovator, Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School, where he successfully launched a start-up. He is actively involved in several philanthropic organizations, including UJA, and is a founding member of the YJP real estate group. He is also an active member in the Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP), a trade association representing more than 2,500 apartment-building owners in New York City’s five boroughs. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Joe worked in the Wealth Management division at Morgan Stanley.
In his free time, Joe enjoys golf, fishing, tennis and spending time with his family. He currently resides on the Upper East Side with his wife and son.
Mark M. Mindick is a longstanding partner and has been a substantial part of the growth of the firm for the past 16 years, consulting on a wide range of value-added tax, consulting, and assurance matters, with a specialized focus in the real estate sector. His clients include the greater real estate and financial services community, both domestic and international.
Michael K. Shah founded Delshah Capital in 2006. Mr. Shah oversees all aspects of company operations including acquisitions, legal strategy, asset management and property management. Utilizing his legal expertise, he personally directs the course of action though many of the special situation investments in which Delshah participates. Through the refinancing and recapitalization of his family’s Park Hill apartment complex, he was able to generate proceeds in excess of $8MM, creating the seed investment for Delshah Capital.
Prior to establishing Delshah, Mr. Shah was an attorney in the mergers and acquisitions group at Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz in New York City. Mr. Shah specialized in complex deal structuring, negotiations, and bankruptcies. At Delshah he has supervised over thirty transactions and grown assets under management to $975MM.
Mr. Shah graduated first in his class from Harvard Law School, earning him the 2003 fay diploma, he also received the Sears Prize in 2001 and 2002. He has a Master of Science in finance and economics from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in chemistry from Harvard University.
Paul M. Fried, Executive Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets, is responsible for leading Greystone’s equity capital placement services. Paul and his team provide advice on structuring creative equity solutions and source institutional equity capital on behalf of real estate owners and developers across all commercial property types.
Paul joins Greystone Bassuk from L&L Holding, where he was a Managing Director and head of Equity and Debt Capital Markets. He brings broad experience in raising capital for real estate projects and advising clients on capital strategies. With experience spanning over two decades and numerous economic cycles, he provides clients with a unique perspective on successfully managing the equity capital markets. At L&L, alone, his assignments encompassed over $4 billion in strategic acquisition, equity recapitalization and development projects, for projects such as the development of 425 Park Avenue in Manhattan.
Paul has extensive experience working with owners and investors across the country on all product types, putting together entire capital stacks. Previously, he was a Director at Deutsche Banc Mortgage Capital and a member of the Investment Committee, and co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of mezzanine lender Allegiance Capital. Regarding his work with clients and their equity needs, he credits his years with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy for providing both the legal and financial fundamentals of equity and debt transactions and a deep exposure to the dynamics of capital market transactions and the approach to fashioning client solutions and guiding clients.
Paul has a JD from Rutgers (Newark), where he was an Editor of the Law Review, and a BA from Rutgers College (New Brunswick; History) where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar. He is a Council Member of the Urban Land Institute.
Mr. Lewis is Chairman, President and Founder of Wharton Equity. Since its inception in 1987, he has overseen the expansion of the firm’s investment reach across different asset classes and strategies. As Chairman of the Real Estate Investment Committee, Mr. Lewis drives the direction of the firm as it executes its disciplined strategy of recognizing and capitalizing on emerging trends.
Among other initiative over the course of his leadership of Wharton Equity, Mr. Lewis established the firm’s multifamily, self-storage, homebuilding and hospitality platforms resulting in over $1 billion of transactions.
Mr. Lewis has had a diverse career having been employed in investment banking, commercial banking and tax accounting prior to forming Wharton Equity. Besides his real estate activities, he is an active venture capital and private equity investor. Mr. Lewis received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his Master in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University. He is a frequent guest lecturer in real estate, and is involved in a number of philanthropic endeavors.
Ran founded Northwind in 2008 and is responsible for managing and executing all company activities including originations, acquisitions, development, construction, property management, leasing, financing and dispositions. Notable recent transactions include the acquisition and repositioning of 305 West End Avenue , a luxury senior-living property totaling 239 units in the Upper West Side and the acquisition and gut rehab of 40 Exchange Place as a high-end 300,000 sq. ft. office building in Financial District. Throughout his career Ran was involved in over 50 real estate transactions totaling over 6 million sq. ft. and over $2 Billion in value across multiple asset classes. Previously, Ran co-founded and served as CEO of EXRE, the real estate investment platform of one of Israel's largest family offices, which has invested in a portfolio of 32 grocery anchored shopping centers located in Florida and Texas. Ran is a retired Captain in the Israeli Navy and sits on the Board of AFN, a non-profit providing vital assistance to people suffering from PTSD. He is passionate about Manhattan real estate, surfing and most importantly for serving as a good role model to his children.
Solomon Kinraich is a founding and managing partner at MLK Real Estate Capital. Craig Nassi Founded BCN Development, LLC in 1993. Quickly building and attracting a brilliant team of experienced individuals, Mr. Nassi's created BCN Development. Mr. Nassi is a Part Time Professor at NYU Graduate School of Real Estate, and serves on several philanthropic boards, such as the Jewish National Fund. In his spare time Mr. Nassi is an avid runner, competitor in multiple marathons and triathlons a year, as well as enjoys skiing, spinning and yoga. Mr. Nassi pursued his educational career for four years, while getting his Masters from UNC, Colorado. Mr. Nassi graduated from CSU, Colorado.

Joshua Brenner joined Eyzenberg & Company in 2017 as a Business Development Associate. His primary focus is identifying and interacting with potential clients who are seeking debt and equity solutions for their commercial real estate transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Brenner was an insurance and investment advisor with Fifth Avenue Financial in New York City. He also has experience in corporate middle-market investment banking and served in the U.S. Navy as a SONAR Technician.
Mr. Brenner holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics from Columbia University.
Julia Maksimova specializes in landlord and tenant representation in the New York City Metro area. She started her career as a research intern with Cushman & Wakefield in Moscow, Russia which transitioned into a full time Market Research position in New York where she was responsible for supporting company's retail brokerage with statistical market analysis. She became a retail leasing broker in 2009. Today, Julia is focusing her efforts on both landlord and tenant representation throughout New York City. She has worked with high profile landlords such as: Stellar Management, Columbia University, Clinton Housing Development Company, SAS Management and several other and many retailers, including Aveda (Estee Lauder Companies), Tartinery, Tommy Hilfiger, Elie Tahari, Fox Group (Israel) and others. Julia's perspective and extensive leadership experience make her a trusted advisor for clients, which has resulted in countless deals. Julia holds a Bachelors of Science degree i n Economics and Management from Moscow State University, Russia. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Julia is currently in the process of attaining her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. Julia in serving on the Agent Leadership Council at Keller Williams NYC as well as the Commercial Leadership Council for the second year, representing the Manhattan region. Her role is to help develop a strong commercial division at the firm by providing agents with necessary leadership, training, and tools.
Michael Davis is the founding partner of The Plymouth Group, a Real Estate investment company. The company has grown to include development, management, brokerage and advisory divisions in New York City and selected US markets. Mr. Davis oversees acquisitions and day-to-day operations of the company, and takes pride in using his years of expertise to add value to the company’s projects on behalf of its private investors. Mr. Davis brings with him a strong understanding of financial structuring, deal process, capital markets, and a passion that has been instrumental in the growth of Plymouth for over a decade. Mr. Davis has been responsible for deal sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring/overseeing the management of Plymouth’s holdings.
In his capacity as Principal of The Plymouth Group, Mr. Davis has overseen the development of over 50 projects in the Tri-State Area across various asset classes ranging from new "ground-up" condo construction, retail and office leasing and sales, “air-rights” transactions, and multifamily rehabilitation and re-positioning projects. In addition, Mr. Davis has served on the boards of and/or in an executive capacity at numerous start-up, portfolio and client-owned companies in several industries.
Mr. Davis, serves on the boards and leadership committees of several religious, charitable and trade organizations, and is a proud member of REBNY.
