Previously, Mr. Troppe was a Founder and Managing Director at Capital Objectives Alpha Balance, LP from January, 2010 to August, 2014. He also served as a Founder and Managing Director at Capital Objective, LLC from February, 2001 to August, 2014.
Brandon Krieg is the CEO and Co-Founder of Stash - the financial platform revolutionizing the way millions of Americans save and invest for their future. Prior to co-founding Stash, Brandon spent over 15 years in financial services, most recently as head of electronic execution for Macquarie Securities Group. He co-founded EdgeTrade, one of the first and largest electronic trade execution and algorithmic software firms. When Knight Capital Group acquired EdgeTrade, Krieg became their head of electronic sales. Brandon has been recognized by Goldman Sachs as one of 2018’s “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs.” STASH was highlighted by the Wall Street Journal as one of the "Top 25 Tech Companies to Watch in 2018."
Serial entrepreneur Eddie Miller is the founder and CEO of WeSell.com, a full service digital marketing and technology firm. For 15+ years, Miller and the WeSell team have built and operated over 2,000 digital businesses. WeSell.com sits at the apex of 17 varying enterprises with a multitude of business lines as the digital operations, infrastructure, and sales partner.
Miller entered the Cannabis industry in 2013 and started eCann, Inc. which mirrored the WeSell business model of using a technology platform to fuel the development and growth of cannabis businesses. Today, eCann, Inc is the leading cannabis platform and uniquely positioned to maximize the percentage of cannabis revenue that flows through it’s platform while also providing the strategy, technology, and infrastructure to support cannabis businesses. The eCann network includes 20+ businesses and is growing rapidly. The most notable businesses include: GreenRush, AllGlass, eCannabis.com, investincannabis, and Legalization.org. One additional key differentiator of eCann, Inc is its strategic partner network including growers, dispensaries, retailers, marketing, events, and technology firms that form a key asset for the companies in the eCann network.
Miller is also considered a cannabis industry expert having recently started his own cannabis investor series in 2015. Miller has also contributed to several national media outlets including but not limited to Forbes, USA Today, and ABC.
Eric is a Founding Partner of Sinai Ventures. Prior to Sinai Ventures, Eric has been an investor with Israel’s largest venture capital firm, Pitango, as well as Insight Venture Partners, a $16 billion software and internet investor based in New York City. As an operator, Eric served as Head of Corporate Development at Dynamic Yield, leading strategic partnerships, channel sales, and fundraising. Most recently, he worked as Head of Strategy at Newell Brands, a $16 billion consumer products conglomerate, within the XO division, focusing on IoT and digital innovation.
Fabrice Grinda is among the world’s leading Internet entrepreneurs and investors. He has over 100 exits on 400 angel investments. Fabrice has served as CEO for three multinational companies and has an impressive track record as an early investor in Alibaba, Flexport, Zume Pizza, Delivery Hero, Betterment and Brightroll. Fabrice is currently running the startup studio and venture fund FJ Labs, which he cofounded with business partner Jose Marin.
Prior to FJ Labs, Fabrice was co-founder and co-CEO of OLX, one of the largest websites in the world with over 300 million unique visitors per month. The company operates in 50 countries and has over 3,000 employees. OLX is the largest classifieds site in India, Brazil, Pakistan, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Portugal and many other emerging markets.
Before OLX, Fabrice was co-founder and CEO of Zingy, one of the largest wireless media companies in the Americas. Fabrice successfully grew the business to $200 million in sales in four years.
Fabrice started his entrepreneurial journey in 1998, at 23, when he co-founded and was CEO of Aucland. Soon after, Aucland grew into one of the largest auction sites in Europe.
Before his entrepreneurial endeavors, Fabrice worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company.
Fabrice holds a BA in Economics from Princeton University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1996, and was awarded the Halbert White prize, given to the most distinguished economics student, as well as The Wolfe Balleisen memorial prize, awarded for best thesis.
In his free time, Fabrice likes to travel the world, heli-ski, kitesurf, play tennis, and read lots of books!
Dr. Ilyayev Received his training from NY Methodist Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan. He is in the forefront of continuing education, always looking for new medical breakthroughs to help his patients.
Dr. Ilyayev started his HouseCall MD practice right after completing his residency. He realized that there were elderly homebound patients who have not seen a doctor in years. He also realized that by seeing these patients in their home, this would decrease the rate of hospitalizations thereby doing his role in decreasing our national healthcare related costs.
Dr. Erik Ilyayev’s positive attitude and self-motivation is the reason he is booked one month in advance.
ytan Wiener is the COO and Co-Founder of Quantum Networks, a NYC based online retailer and brand development agency representing over 200 brands on the world's largest online marketplaces. Providing one-on-one brand management and a clear preservation of brand identity, Quantum Networks executes full front- and back-end optimization of brands’ online presence. Eytan is also a Partner and Executive at Tradeport, a fully outsourced Reverse Logistics Solutions Company for e-tailers, retailers, and manufacturers/brands.He is also a Board Member Emeritus of the Prosper Show, the largest continuing education conference for established Amazon sellers, focused on sharing best practice and creating networking opportunities for large sellers.Eytan continually shares his breadth of knowledge by being featured regularly as an e-commerce expert on numerous publications, blogs, and videos, as well as guest lecturing at universities, conferences, and trade shows throughout the world.
Guy has over 15 years of business development and corporate development experience in the B2B technology and services space. He started his business journey in Ernst & Youg, where he joined the strategic consulting practice. Guy then became a partner at TASC Strategy and Capital – a leading strategic consulting firm in EMEA, operated in association with Bain & Company, leading its growth into new markets and practices, as the youngest ever partner in the company.
Guy was a venture partner in Moneta a FinTech VC funds, and a mentor in a startups accelerator focused on B2B technologies. Guy co-founded, invested and led Business Development and Corporate Development activities, for a portfolio of B2B growth companies in the US and Europe, among others for: Generali, Willful Capital, NICE, and most recently Innovid - a leading CTV advertising platform.
Guy served as an officer in the Israeli Air-Force, and he is a co-founder at "Metaktekot" - a social venture connecting talents from remote and underprivileged communities, with the vibrant tech market, providing remote administrative and sales development services to growth companies. He and his family are living in Brooklyn, NY.
Shaune Scutellaro, CPA, is a senior manager at CohnReznick with eleven years of diversified public accounting experience and a member of the Firm’s Technology and Life Sciences Industry Practice and National Tax Practice. He has a background in corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning and compliance, including multi-state and international companies.
A licensed CPA in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Shaune has an abundance of experience working in the technology and life sciences industry. In addition to general accounting, Shaune’s experience in working with small start-up entrepreneurs includes setting up accounting methods, standards and procedures, state registration, and employment issues. Shaune has also worked closely with public entities and large public affiliated corporate groups, providing services that include partnership tax and ASC 740 work.
Shaune has a great amount of knowledge and experience in both inbound and outbound international tax issues. In addition to providing US tax consulting and compliance services for multi-national corporations and partnerships, he has worked on nearly 20 submissions to the IRS Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program, which have included procedures for nonresident US citizens. His experience includes navigating and interpreting a number of US tax treaties; reporting on foreign investment for US residents; and completing any necessary compliance for US citizens living abroad, US resident aliens, and nonresident aliens with US taxable income and FACTA reporting requirements.
Prior to joining CohnReznick, Shaune worked for a local private accounting firm in Ocean County, NJ, as well as for a Los Angeles, CA based accounting firm.

Bryan currently works as a Senior Analyst for Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Bank where he focuses on Emerging Market client coverage. Bryan graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where he majored in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation.
Sam Seder, an associate on the Applied Value VenCap team, recently transitioned over from the management consulting business at Applied Value. Sam previously worked to build two different startups in Israel winning the $1M prize from Verizon at CES as the “best education app of 2014” as well as the 2014 SXSW Accelerator Competition for “best social app.” Additionally, Sam has worked spent time working for three different California VC firms on both seed and growth stage deals. Sam grew up in Berkeley, CA before earning a degree from Dartmouth College. He currently splits his time between the global Applied Value offices in New York, Stockholm and Shanghai.
