YJP is excited to host Scott Beiser, CEO at Houlihan Lokey. Houlihan Lokey is a leading global investment bank with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial restructuring, and valuation.

This will be a moderated Zoom roundtable, featuring insights from Scott and an opportunity for Q&A.

Scott Beiser
CEO at Houlihan Lokey

Scott is the CEO of Houlihan Lokey, a publicly traded international investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings and business valuations. His responsibilities include managing Houlihan Lokey’s operations, identifying and developing new strategic opportunities and pursuing and managing new and existing client relationships. Scott previously led Houlihan Lokey’s Infrastructure Services and Materials practice and has specialized expertise in investment banking services for engineering and construction businesses.

Scott earned both a B.S. and a M.S. in Finance from the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge. Over the last few decades, Scott has advised several boards and management teams in a variety of industries. Scott is active with numerous organizations including AIPAC, American Cancer Society, Israel Bonds, Itrek and The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. Scott is married and has two kids.

Gary Goldstein
Chief Executive Officer at Whitney Partners

Gary Goldstein is a founder and Group CEO of Whitney Partners, a leading executive search firm in the financial services industry. Considered to be an expert in his field, Mr. Goldstein has extensive experience in human resources recruitment within all areas of the financial services industry and has appeared in a number of articles and television programs ranging from The Wall Street Journal to CNN's Moneyline discussing trends in the financial services sector. He has also been qualified and has served as an expert witness in a number of arbitrations related to compensation and other matters of employment in the securities business. He was also a founder, chairman and CEO of a public human resource staffing and consulting company serving the financial services industry.

Prior to entering the executive search industry, Mr. Goldstein was on the audit and consulting staffs of Arthur Andersen & Co. in New York. Mr. Goldstein has been the Chief Representative in the U.S. for Peking University’s investment vehicle, Founder Group. His responsibility has been to introduce them to strategic capital and strategic operating partners. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Sustainability Partners, an investment group specializing in infrastructure investments in the MUSH (Municipalities, Universities, School Systems, Hospitals) markets.

He is a member of AIPAC and a past member of Young President's Organization, Inc. (YPO).
Mr. Goldstein holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Canisius College and is a graduate of the OPM Program at the Harvard Business School.
