Jonathan founded Sheridan Capital Partners in 2012. He has spent his entire career working with growth-oriented companies in the lower middle market. Prior to joining Sheridan, Jonathan was at PNC Equity Partners in Pittsburgh, where he sourced, led, executed and managed private equity investments in the healthcare, consumer and specialty distribution sectors. Previously, Jonathan spent time at William Blair Capital Partners and Lake Capital in Chicago, where he focused on technology-enabled business services and niche manufacturers in various sectors. Jonathan began his career at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co., a Charlotte-based investment bank focused on middle market mergers and acquisitions.
Jonathan earned a BA with honors in English, French, and philosophy from Furman University where he was a Fulbright Scholar and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he was an MBA Fellow with the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, Chicago Commonwealth Club, and the Board of Directors of the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Dana Dombey has a national practice focused on the business aspects of health care law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and contractual arrangements. Serving as counsel to founders, operators, private equity funds, and strategic investors, Dana is deeply involved in a range of transactional and regulatory matters, including negotiating, documenting, facilitating, and finalizing transactions involving health care companies. Dana leverages her transactional background and healthcare regulatory experience to provide seamless legal counsel regarding the complex strategic and operational issues facing healthcare providers and investors.
Dana is a Sub-Sector Leader for the Healthcare Private Equity Sub-Sector and Partner-in-Charge of the Miami Healthcare Practice Group. Her recognitions include being recognized by Chambers USA and included on The Deal’s Top Women in Dealmaking List for 2023 and Daily Business Review’s On The Rise List.
